Striving to do it all… Well! January 13, 2017. Plus, I’m cheap… I mean frugal. Flaky Pie Crust Ingredients:. 3 cups All-purpose flour. 3/4 cup Vegetable oil. Mix together flour and salt making a well to pour in milk and oil. Mix with a spoon and when dough balls together, continue kneading on flour dusted area. Using a rolling-pin, shape dough into a rectangle. It may be easier to roll between two sheets of wax paper. This recipe makes two 9 inch pie crusts in case you were wondering. San Diego CA 92109.

Striving to do it all… Well! January 12, 2017. I tried this recipe for fried rice using leftovers already in the fridge. It was awesome and my family loved it. Found myself wishing I had more leftovers to add. To give credit where credit is due, this recipe is not one I came up with but rather one I found on momsbistro.net. There is a reason that the fried rice at a Japanese steakhouse is always absolutely fantastic and this is because they use A LOT of butter. The butter really makes everything brow...

Embracing Mommyhood to the fullest after far too much loss. Warning: Some snark included. I sit here and type this as my little baby boy lies down next to me and coos. M*a*t*a*n was born safe and healthy on March 16th. I can’t wait to find out what kind of person he will grow up to be. We’re slowly adjusting to being a family of 4, and remembering what it’s like to care for a newborn – we’re both a bit rusty since it’s been 3.5 years. It seems right to end it here. I feel like this needs more context....
