Another day in my paradise :). The ups and downs of my everyday life by Julie Q. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. That car they bought. If it's about three years old, it still runs around 25,000 dollars. Actually blue book said 26 to 28 thousand. Geesh! Yeah, I want alimony. That just makes me mad. Especially since that time he didn't send me any money. I'm glad it's going through the legal system now. He can't afford that car. People keep telling me karma is going to get them, I am starting to believe it.

Whatever that chugging thing it's doing. Okay, I think I know what's causing that but I can't do anything about it at the moment. Front end wheel alignment. Not really expensive but just out of my reach. Hopefully I get that stipend soon after training. Oh please let that happen! Then it got worse, but it will get better. *sigh*.

Once they notify me of the date he was served, I wait to see if he responds. He has 21 days to respond. The lawyer said if he doesn't respond, it's good for me. I seem to be making the "ethnic rounds" the last couple of days.last night, I got together with the Girls' Night Out gang -known affectionately as GNO - we gathered at Sumo's for happy hour and dinner and had a blast! We had a rather flirtatious cook - I think he enjoyed cooking for a dozen women! Afterward I went and met up with Dennis at Richland Mall - he was getting his hair cut so I had to wait for him - but entertained myself trying on clothes for awhile! I'm so glad tomorr...

Thursday, July 24, 2008. Busy Week, Charlotte, Etc! This has been a pretty busy week for me workwise. on Monday, I had depositions all day, then spent Tuesday and Wednesday in Charlotte for a class and exam - my mom went with me and we made an "overnight getaway" out of it. we did manage to hit two of our favorite restaurants in the world, Cheesecake Factory for lunch and PF Chang's for dinner.
