Kids, crayons, and a magic eraser. There was an error in this gadget. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Looking at the world through a child's eyes. I don't think there is a real parenting lesson here, or maybe there is depending on how you look at things. Anyhow this is just a funny story that completely made my day. Children have amazing minds. Their interpretation of everyday life is astounding. The way they look at the world is refreshing. The way they hear things that are said can be completely comical.

Kids, crayons, and a magic eraser. There was an error in this gadget. Monday, April 18, 2011. The potty trainer primer- or, the straight poop before the poo. This will most likely be a compendium of various strategies and tips for potty training for both boys and girls. My wife is working on the actual blog post. I have been fortunate enough to either be in extended training or deployed during these times. My wife, however, is an expert. What I am posting here is the prequel, or the primer- if you will.

Kids, crayons, and a magic eraser. There was an error in this gadget. Tuesday, May 3, 2011. This has no title- only a message- right wrong or indifferent! Today was a somber day. I attended a memorial service for a brother in arms. This Sergeant First Class was an amazing NCO. He was brutally honest. His sense of humor and ability to pick apart flaws in a comical manner was unmatched. His dedication to standards and military bearing was commendable. This was downrange in Iraq. He was a true professional.

Kids, crayons, and a magic eraser. There was an error in this gadget. Thursday, May 5, 2011. Such an amazing play on words, but so accurate- the WE-SAY PACT. I remember growing up, I knew what parent to go to based on the situation. My father was the disciplinarian. My mother was the soother. My father had to be convinced, my mother just wanted us to be happy- at least for me. My sister may have a different experience, but for me- if I wanted something, I went to my mom. Tonight, I lost my patience- again.

I flew to the states for her graduation and then performed at a club for her and her friends, interesting to say the least. Back to the story. Not to mention the story of my daughter and I is a bit, umm, complicated. While I...
