The kids went right to the dirt. We didn't have the shovels unpacked yet, so they found a random spoon on the ground to use as a shovel. And still more dirt. Madison taking a rest by the fire. Tuesday, November 18, 2014. In October, the kids and I met up with my brother and his kids at Fog Willow pumpkin patch. Logan wasn't quite sure what to think of the hay and I think the goat scared him at first, but he later seemed to enjoy seeing and pointing at the animals. Monday, April 28, 2014. Later that afternoon, Madison and I went on a mommy/daughter adventure to the Easter party at Madison's preschool. The highlight for Madison was the bounce houses. I didn't think she would be able to make it over the wall on the obstacle course, but she did. I think the obstacle course was her favorite. (I kindof wanted to go on it too, but it was just for the kids). Later that evening we headed out to my cousins house for a family get together and Easter dinner.

Thursday, January 22, 2015. December was also the month of Madison's first dance recital. She was a mouse in the Nutcracker and she loved it. Her grandma bought the DVD of the show and Madison loves watching it and trying to do all the different dances in it. We spent Christmas eve at my parents house with all my siblings and their families and Clayton's parents and brother came over to our house on Christmas day for lunch. Sunday, February 22, 2015. January was spent getting back in the school routine and enjoying all the new toys from Christmas! Clark's first day of Sunbeams! Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Madison's First Day of School. A couple weeks ago Madison started Kindergarten! Monday, August 11, 2014. Madison on the carousel. She felt like a big girl riding all by herself. Madison thought she would like the roller coaster, but decided she didn't after a couple times around. We had been on something similar at Marine World as a family and she liked it.but I think it was a little more scary riding by herself. One of my favorite Clark smiles. Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Madison loves to learn. She got a kids almanac from the library and loved reading about all the things in it. My Grandma passed away a few months ago. Here is a picture of the kids trying on some of her jewelry. Here are the kids getting their bedtime book with Grandma. I am so grateful for her and her willingness to always help out with the kids. Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Clark driving (or I guess it would be piloting) the helicopter. Madison and Clark standing by the wheel of the garbage truck. If we come back next year I wonder how much they will have grown. I also wonder at what age Clark will end up being taller than Madison. :). Looking out the school bus window. Tuesday, December 9, 2014. We celebrated the first day of November by doing a Halloween craft. Madison loves crafts, and I saw this reduced price at Michaels on Halloween day. The instructions were a little too much, but she preferred to do it her own way anyway. Madison has a class stuffed animal named Buster and she gets so excited when her name gets picked to take him home. I came when I heard "mommy, help" and saw this - Clark stuck in a box.
