On a New York City beach earlier this week in memory of Paolo Rapuzzi. The legendary producer of indigenous varieties of Friuli who passed away on August 13th. This wine was showing a blazing minerality that day which I have watched open up over the past year since it's release. Thank you Paolo for letting the COF2011 crew.

May 19, 2015. Weather Report Vines Flourish with Warmer Temperatures. The weather in Montalcino is still very good, with lows and highs above average. Last weekend, which was supposed to be rainy, was instead almost entirely sunny and warm. In the vineyard the vines are continuing to grow quickly.
