Welcome to Moosebay. Pictured below on Belle Isle in the Detroit River is the William Livingstone Memorial Lighthouse. This one of kind fluted shaft of white marble rises 47 feet above Belle Isle. This lighthouse was dedicated and first illuminated 8 April 1930. It is a Memorial to William Livingstone who among his many accomplishments was President from 1902 to 1925 of the Lake Carriers Association dedicated to the promotion of Great Lakes shipping.

Monday, April 2, 2018. A new month, a new goal. I have two quilt retreats that I am attending later this month, so my One Monthly Goal is going to an easy one.
