Katie Go Boom!: August 2008
http://katiegoboom.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 22, 2008. I tend to get a panicky feeling when I run into people I went to high school with. All the horrible feelings of high school come back. I went to 3 different high schools. The bad part about going to 3 different High Schools is that there are a lot more people to run into. There is also an advantage of going to three different high schools. Classmate: "Hey, did you go to Mountain View? Me: "I went to Dixie". Classmate: "Oh sorry, you look familiar.". Friday, August 15, 2008. Shanl...

Jul 2, 2008. Even Kuwaitis love the late '80's. The spectacular years from 1985 to 1989 are a few years that will forever go down in history as the years where amazing things happened, but no one cares to remember. . Things were jive in '85:. Tetris was released as well as the Nintendo Entertainment System. The MacGyver Pilot episode aired on the ABC network. 1985 was known as "The Year of the Spy" due to multiple cases of espionage in the United States. Get your kicks from '86:. It was heaven in '87:.

Collin's Blog: Public Transportation
http://collinnelson.blogspot.com/2011/06/public-transportation.html
Jun 20, 2011. So I started a new job about a month and a half ago. If you can't wait to learn about my new job in future posts go here. To learn more about where I work. Anyway, rather than drive to work everyday I take public transportation. There are three reasons why I do this:. A) the cheapest place to park downtown is $6.50 per day. 2) early morning traffic is worse than this. Hard to believe, but its true). D) my work gives me a bus pass for free. Katie Go Boom!: Halloween Again...
http://katiegoboom.blogspot.com/2008/10/halloween-again.html
Wednesday, October 1, 2008. It's time for Halloween again. I am not a fan of this holiday. I have always been afraid of people who are dressed up and have masks on. I don't like the feeling of not knowing who it is. When people wear masks and dress up they seem to feel like they can be someone else and they like to scare you. I dont like Halloween.so, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas! That was fun.I'm totally with you on this one! October 1, 2008 at 3:32 PM. I LOVE that you tried not to cry! I am s...

More Fun Than a Standardized Test. Thursday, March 29, 2007. Enrichment tonight was a success! Due in part to my magical planning skills. I suggested that we have pizza. and Bre's magical texting skills. She got the word out and there were 20-25 girls who showed up. Yes, I did buy Diet Coke and brought it to a church activity and yes there was a questionable discussion at the end but other than that it was all on the up and up. Wednesday, March 28, 2007. I guess I've seen people make worse mistakes.

View From An Empty Nest: November 2010
http://viewfromanemptynest.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
View From An Empty Nest. Monday, November 8, 2010. You see, for the last 15 or 20 minutes of nursery, they were doing bubbles and I was helping. At one point, I decided to make a wide arc of bubbles for the kids to chase. So I swung the wand in a big, wide swoop just as one of the nursery leaders walked past me from behind. I plastered her, hard, right in the face with my gloppy, goopy hand- clenched into a fist around the drippy bubble wand. Sure hope I don't see her sporting a shiner next week.

The Grudging Texter: So True!
http://lauradawnthompson.blogspot.com/2011/11/so-true.html
Honey, I don't read; I'm read to." Karen. Wednesday, November 9, 2011. I was reading an article in a magazine and I thought the beginning of the article so perfectly articulated the 11 seconds I experience when looking at a celebrity magazine, too. So here's the blurb:. Last week I picked up a celebrity magazine, and there was a photo of a radiant Reese Witherspoon, in a white T-shirt and flouncy skirt, with her new husband. Within the space of 11 seconds, I had the following thoughts:. God, I'm so judgy!

The Grudging Texter: Ah, Kids . . .
http://lauradawnthompson.blogspot.com/2011/10/ah-kids.html
Honey, I don't read; I'm read to." Karen. Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Ah, Kids . . . I think I should just have Wendy post. From here on out. Good stuff, huh? The dear is also the new, proud Mom to an adorable little girl, Nadia. Props, Wendy! Double props for going the natural-birth route! Sage: Oh, so Grandma (Jo) can't go to the temple? Jocee: No, she can. Why do you say that? Sage: Oh, because she has an ugly face so she can't go. Jocee: No, she has a pretty face, Sage. Sage: No Mom, it's really ugly.
