Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Paul and Glenn Sunday Walk. April 19 Paul and Glenn went for a walk. If I'm remembering right, that was the Spanish Mother's Day. They went out to let me have a nice quiet afternoon nap. They found the U.S. Embassy. And took pictures of another beautiful building. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://jensentojensen.blogspot.com/2015/08/happy-30th-to-me.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Happy 30th to Me! We headed out to San Agustin del Guadalix to visit the Hubers on Thursday April 30. We had a long weekend and decided to spend the night at their house. We watched the kids play soccer, we played games and we had fun. Paul got a cake at a grocery store nearby and we celebrated my birthday with the Hubers on Friday May 1. Then we went to some stores to look for possible souvenirs. We found some funny things they are selling over in Europe. Happy 30th to me!

Jensen to Jensen: Florence Day 5
http://jensentojensen.blogspot.com/2015/05/florence-day-5.html
Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Our last day in Florence, we went to more museums. We started out by seeing the Medici Chapel Museum. The lower floor had several little tombs for members of the Medici family. Up the stairs, we entered a room called the Chapel of the Princes. The ceiling was incredible and was well lit. In the same complex, we saw this beautiful courtyard- with the dome of the Medici chapel in the background. Inside this building we toured the library. There was a reading room. We really liked the ...

Jensen to Jensen: Pisa
http://jensentojensen.blogspot.com/2015/05/pisa.html
Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Monday, March 23 we took a train out to Pisa for the day. Of course we all had to take the classic Pisa picture of us holding of pushing the tower. It was fun that everyone else there was doing the exact same thing! We were amazed at how much it really does lean! We walked along the road next to this square and couldn't get enough of the views of the tower and the cathedral. We walked around the old wall of the city as well and then back around to the other side of the tower. And de...

Monkeys In My Minivan: Sunday Road Trip
http://sunnymomma23.blogspot.com/2012/03/sunday-road-trip.html
Yesterday, we dropped Koda off to a breeder's house (hopefully we'll have some puppies come May! We loved being back up in the higher elevations, nestled up in a mountain valley. I am such a country girl at heart! I think Koda loved it too! The kids loved meeting Koda's "Husband", named "Bishop". I think their puppies are going to be so gorgeous! Hmm, I'll bring ." Then I realized Koda wan't home today! Our big question right now is if we are going to keep a puppy from this litter . I guess we'll see!

Jensen to Jensen: Traditional Madrid Meal
http://jensentojensen.blogspot.com/2015/08/traditional-madrid-meal.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. May 11, our last full day in Spain, we made sure our bags were packed, went to Retiro one last time, checked out a few more souvenir shops and then had dinner with our new friends Daniel, Paloma and Estrella. While walking to the metro from the souvenir shops we took a few last pictures. We weren't sure what this was about, but we thought it was interesting. Maybe they were part of a team or maybe they lost a bet? Then the main course: Cocido Madrileno. August 9, 2015 at 9:34 PM.

Jensen to Jensen: Parque Juan Carlos I
http://jensentojensen.blogspot.com/2015/05/parque-juan-carlos-i.html
Sunday, May 10, 2015. Parque Juan Carlos I. Monday March 30, Glenn and I had plans to meet with some friends at the Juan Carlos I Park. It was close to Paul's work so he was going to walk with us there. He then decided to go with us! He had days off later in the week, so he just switched the days he would work/not work. So we were happy to have him along for that reason, plus we also like spending time with Paul! The parks here always seem to have strange little things to play/sit on. I love this pic...

Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Retiro Park Again and Again. Our time in Madrid was coming to an end. We wanted to enjoy Retiro Park as much as possible. So after breakfast and listening to an audio book- which was our daily routine- we packed a lunch of ham and cheese sandwiches,Glenn's workbook and a reading book for me. Then Glenn got his scooter and we made our way to Retiro Park. We first fed the pigeons and other birds. Then we found cool plants and more playgrounds. The girls wanted to go to the "Froze...

Jensen to Jensen: Burger King
http://jensentojensen.blogspot.com/2015/07/burger-king.html
Thursday, July 9, 2015. April 22 Glenn and I ventured to a restaurant on our own. Glenn had completed the 1st grade workbook that we brought along, so we decided to go out for lunch for a change. Glenn chose Burger King. After getting out food we went upstairs to eat. They also had a little interactive playroom. They had a screen on the floor that was touch activated. Glenn played through the different games and had a really fun time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Called to serve in Belém Brazil!
