Monday, July 4, 2011. The best laid plans. Fourth of July weekend! From a very early age I have loved this holiday. Fun in the sun, outdoor grilling and fireworks! This year was no exception. We have eaten grilled food every night for the last 5 days and I have a very obvious burn as proof of my 'fun in the sun! What's a long weekend without a good hike? We parked the car as far in as we could and turned our hike from the trailhead into a hike. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Moscow Church of Christ.

Monday, May 31, 2010. I'll try to keep this short and sweet because even I get bored reading my last post (yawn). We took Mom and Dad on a weekend trip to Lake Chelan and had a great time. The weather was perfect and the scenery was gorgeous! Since the trip, I have decided to try my hand at a few paintings. Here is some of the scenery from the lake. I wish I really could paint that well. Photoshop is such a great talent-producer! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Moscow Church of Christ.

Blog: A Happy Holiday
http://ourexpeditions.blogspot.com/2009/12/happy-holiday.html
Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Our holiday fun started on Christmas Eve. Steph really wanted to take the kids to Locomotive Park and invited the rest of us along. I'm so glad we went! They add more and more lights every year and it was really fun to walk through them all. There were a lot more people than I expected (I guess it's a popular place to go Christmas Eve) but even with the crowds, we really enjoyed it. Here are some general images from the park. This was my favorite tree. The igloo was fun.

Monday, May 11, 2009. Well, as I suspected, I'm not very good at keeping this updated! I opened up my page and was disgusted with all the wintery looking photos. With the sunshine comes a longing to hit the trails so I thought I'd re-do the background to a Glacier National Park scene from last year. The mountains are calling! A few weeks ago Chris decided to take me to the prom. (He's such a romantic! We got all dressed up and spent Saturday night amid the music and lights. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Thursday, August 20, 2009. Good things come in small packages. I just love being an aunt! I was thankful to be able to go and help out with the laundry, meals and other various household jobs for a day and give Steph time to rest and take care of Benjamin. What an incredible blessing he (and the rest of his family) is! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Moscow Church of Christ. WHO READS THIS ANYWAY? Good things come in small packages. Friday, July 24, 2009. Last weekend we hiked up Mica Mountain which isn't all that far from home. I heard people talk about it all the time growing up but hadn't ever been there. Chris loaded about 30 pounds of stuff in his pack to start getting in shape for the hopeful meat-hauling expedition in August. It's kind of funny to take a step back and think about the things we hauled up the mountain with us. Coveralls? Yeah, good thing we had those along! Little did we know, this was nothing! The trail split ...
