GOING ON A ROCK HUNT…. This has become a safe adventure for us…there is no climbing involved… and I only pick up the smaller ones.:}. The search begins…. For several days we went out and hunted for rocks. I wish we could have managed to grab these…just a tad too big. It was just a little windy …can you tell? Unloading another batch of our finds….by the way, our property line goes to our neighbors left side fence corner. Such a hard worker! Getting some MUCH appreciated help with the rocks from Bob! We decided to make the trip to Refugio State Beach! This is near Santa Barbara. A long journey for us traveling from Utah, but we were very excited about continuing with our tradition of camping for Thanksgiving…We started out with anticipation of what our week would be like. Looking forward to fun filled times. Well, this doesn’t look like much fun at all! Nothing but HUGE trucks buzzing past! Headed on down the road…WHAT THE! What was that sound? Archive February, 2012. Mom’s Visit and Rainy Days July 2011. Mom came out to visit. She had a very fun time….can you tell? She had a blast just going up the street and back. Then we had a few VERY big thunder storms and rainy days! We took a drive and took in the sights near our house…sooo pretty. This is a favorite of mine…the rain was awesome! We were so excited when we saw this double rainbow! Some one want to buy this house? Look at how pretty the area is. Too bad we already built ours….
