Because of its proximity to Brisbane, Mt Glorious provides an ideal opportunity to partake in a variety of nature-oriented activities. If you wish to learn more about the rainforest there is the Rainforest Self Guiding Nature Walk at Maiala National Park. This is a short circuit with markers along the track that offer descriptive information about the area and species. Activities range from serious bush walking pursuits, to very casual family BBQ's in the rolling parkland at the Miala recreation area.
