Friday, February 19, 2010. Assignment # 4: Culture Clash. I hope you all had a great time with Dr. Veiga this past week. We were fortunate to be able to bring him to campus and I hope you got a chance to get a better understanding of some of the issues we’ll be facing while in Mozambique. For your blog post this week, BRIEFLY discuss some of the issues that may arise because of our upcoming culture clash. How do you think can we approach other cultures with humility and still make a difference? Sunday Mo...

The Mozamblog: What Constitutes Being More Intelligent Than Someone Else?

http://mozambiquemom.blogspot.com/2010/02/what-constitutes-being-more-intelligent.html

Wednesday, February 10, 2010. What Constitutes Being More Intelligent Than Someone Else? The author says that is not the case and I strongly agree with him. Don’t you think that the Aboriginal Australians, Native Americans, Incas, and Mayas could be considered more intelligent for somehow not developing societal diseases such as smallpox? Do these “primitive” people not have a better understanding of how nature works than does any modern city dweller? By Vanessa Breslin and Kim Lammers. Hey Guys and Gals...

The Mozamblog: January 2010

http://mozambiquemom.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Sunday, January 31, 2010. Posted by Matt Williams. Saturday, January 30, 2010. I have never been to a third-world country. I have never had to be cautious of what I eat or drink because it might kill me. During my Mercer on Mission experience I want to develop a better understanding about what everyday life is like for people living in under-developed nations around the world. Right now, I really don’t have any idea what I am getting myself into but I am excited nonetheless. Friday, January 29, 2010.

Sunday, January 31, 2010. Posted by Matt Williams. January 31, 2010 at 6:16 PM. February 1, 2010 at 7:27 PM. The beauty of my situation is that, although I am still nervous about my upcoming adventure and the challenges our group faces, I am sure that nothing great was ever achieved without butterflies in the stomach of the undertaker. Mozambique mission blog

Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Today will mark our eighth full day of teaching in Nicoadala, as well as our last full day. Picture will be up later* *. Please, take a moment, and pray for Pastor Olympio. Now the really fun/awkward stuff starts. Song of Songs! This book is hard to teach to American’s.let alone a group of pastors who I hardly know, in a different language, and a culture still very foreign to me. So, it was hard! Haha It was more the poetic structure that really had these guys confused....

Updates from the Mission Team. The Story of How Mission Mozambique 2008 Came to Be. July 30, 2008. Http:/ www.theanswer.org/mozambique/mission mozambique1.htm. This is Part One of the story. At the end of it there is a link to Part Two. Posted in Mission to Mozambique. July 18, 2008. Last night I dreamed of children. I heard people praying, crying out to God with their whole being in Mecua and Portuguese, desperate for a touch from Him. Last night I dreamed of Africa and woke with a longing in my heart.

Mozambique 2012 | Serving our brothers and sisters in Cambine

Serving our brothers and sisters in Cambine. What we take home from Mozambique. Posted by Volunteers In Mission. August 18, 2012. On the long flight home this morning, team members took a few minutes to reflect on their time in Africa. Here are our thoughts:. 8211; What I will take home are the faces of the widows, the children and their smiles as well as the hopes and dreams of the missionaries for the orphanage and the seminary. It was a great experience. My lasting takeaway will be the recognition of ...

Mozambique Missions | We are a missionary team in Mozambique who seek to make the Name of Christ great among the nations

Mozambique: A Nation in Darkness. We are a missionary team in Mozambique who seek to make the Name of Christ great among the nations. July 7, 2015. Dear friends and family,. It has now already been two weeks since Michiah and Isaac Lancaster returned to the USA. We thank the Lord that He brought these two young men to visit, as they were a help and encouragement to us. We are so grateful for the precious time of fellowship we had with them! The photo on the left was taken as we said goodbye at the airport.
