Once a golfer, now a runner. Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Trying to reach my full potential as a masters runner. View my complete profile. Friday, December 31, 2010. I woke up at 2:30am an couldn't get back to sleep. I was planning another early-morning run before Anne went to work, but I was too tired and didn't have the energy. So now I have to find time during the day to fit my run in somewhere! If only I hadn't bailed on my Tuesday evening run I could have pushed this run to tomorrow. I had another rest ...

That's Mr. Tower: September 2006

That's Mr. Tower. A classic example of Brutalist architecture attempts to predict Pitchfork's ratings for some exciting new releases, and discusses other things musical along the way. Thursday, September 28, 2006. Notes on The Lemonheads. Just like Milo said: pretty good, pretty good. My prediction of the new Lemonheads album was generally successful. I was 0.4 off, and correct in assuming PF wouldn't be overly enthusiastic about it. Posted by Trellick Tower at 8:54 AM. Wednesday, September 27, 2006.

Thursday, June 29, 2006. Billy Talent - II. Who am I kidding? Posted by Trellick Tower at 9:07 AM. Dashboard Confessional Dusk and Summer. The Fork was harsh in its review of DC's 2001 album - yet still gave it a 4.2 - and does not appear to have blessed the band's 2003 album with a review. Should this new one. I am still n...

See Joggy run. See Joggy jog. Run Joggy jog! Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Where I start to enjoy the track. Well I did something stupid and signed up to play hockey on Saturday nights. Rob has me doing my long runs on Sundays. See what I mean? So this Sunday when I was supposed to do 12K, I ended up doing 10. Then last night, which was supposed to be a rest night, I felt guilty so I went and did 8 at the track. January 11, 2011 at 5:18 PM. Who signs up to play dodgeball? Run Joggy jog!: Flat is good
http://runjoggyrun.blogspot.com/2010/12/flat-is-good.html
See Joggy run. See Joggy jog. Run Joggy jog! Friday, December 24, 2010. I'm back in my hometown this week for Christmas, and yes I brought my running shoes. I ran my scheduled 6K (actually 6.42) last night and felt great. No pain, lots of energy. I felt like I could have run much longer. I have to run a 6K again on Christmas day which I will try to run with Rob, and then a 10K on Sunday. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Angriest Man in Ottawa. That's Mr. Tower. John K. http://runjoggyrun.blogspot.com/2011/01/10-best-albums-of-all-time.html
See Joggy run. See Joggy jog. Run Joggy jog! Thursday, January 6, 2011. 10 best albums of all time. My wife bought me the 2008 Guns N Roses biography for Christmas this year. Actually I saw it on sale for $6 while out shopping on Christmas Eve, and since I'm a sucker for a rock and roll biography, I grabbed it and told her to give it to me for Christmas. I took Tuesday off because I was out for dinner, but I got back at it yesterday with my 7K. I felt great and ran it in just over 34 mins. And to...Howev...

Run Joggy jog!: Been busy!
http://runjoggyrun.blogspot.com/2010/12/been-busy.html
See Joggy run. See Joggy jog. Run Joggy jog! Tuesday, December 21, 2010. First, let me apologize to my many readers for such a long break between posts! I'm on holidays, and I actually have less time to post now, being at home with the kids and so on. But enough of the excuses! Anyways, I am back on my schedule now, which calls for 6K today at various paces. My normal 6K route is clear of snow, and relatively flat, so I'm hoping there are no issues!
