I am passionate about learning and my profession in general, but my two favorite components of my position are being able to provide professional development to teachers and present at conferences. I believe that by providing these opportunities to teachers, I am in turn able to reach many more. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Director of Innovation and Technology. Oneword for 2017: Relentless. Basically, the post is about how he used to be able to run marathons and loved running, and now he doesn't and it's painful, and how sometimes it's hard to see what's behind you because you're so busy looking at the people passing you. So true, and it's inspired me to write my own blog post. I feel like we fi...

We take these words, throw them into goals that we create, revamp our mission and vision statements to include them, and expect teachers and students to meet the goals. What we often don't do is define what the words mean to the district. How the district defines any particular word that is used as a driver for learning. The term innovation.
