I especially love our Kindergarten trip to the pumpkin patch, the activities, colors and books this time of year brings! We went to Christ Church United Methodist for their annual Pumpkin Patch! The Greyhound Puppies are having fun in K2! Friday, September 21, 2012. To continue our celebration of Read for a Better Life, we had a few very special readers come to K2! Football players from The Woodlands High School spent some time with us this afternoon! Their names are Jake (#24) and Ryan (#27)! They did a fantastic job with our class! The boys and girls were in awe that actual football players were in our room! They told me they have only ever seen football players on TV! You guys were awesome!

Tuesday, July 12, 2011. If you read my last post, you know my computer was quickly losing battery as I typed. It officially died about 30 minutes after I pressed 'publish.'. The first night of computer shopping, we went to Best Buy, the sales guy tried to talk us into a Mac. We decided to head to the Apple store and see if they had anything else to share with us. Saturday, July 2, 2011. While I realize every post mentions baby Addison in some way, I have not done a post specifically about her. I can’t avoid including her in all of my posts because she is our life now and really everything we do revolves around her. When did I get a toddler? Today, our girl is 13 months old. She LOVES the dogs! Every morning, she calls for Yea-ya (Layla) when she first wakes up and squeals when Layla comes running into her room. Still tall and skinny! She is still not walking!

Monday, July 5, 2010. Addison’s First Month. I can’t believe it has already been over a month since Addison was born! Addison wakes up about every 3-4 hours to eat. She is spending more and more time awake each day. I always feel like I should entertain her somehow when she is awake, but I am getting used to just leaving her in the swing, or even hanging out on the bed. Otherwise, I could not get anything done-ever! She is still in Newborn clothes! 24th percentile) She is 21.5" long! Layla and Maya Davis.

We have been busy juggling our new schedules with early mornings, work, playing with Addison and helping out at the church. We finally get to slow down a bit since we have tomorrow off for Labor Day! The Greyhound Puppies are having fun in K2! Thursday, November 8, 2012. We have been gearing up all week for our Boosterthon Fun Run! We started in K2, putting on eye-black (like real, tough athletes! Once we got out to the 'track,' the kids did a few stretches to get warmed up! After a few rules,. Cute photo ops,. And the National Anthem,. We were ready to RUN! Unfortunately, I did not get many pictures on the track because I ran most of the time. It took several attempts to get a good class picture.
