Moving apartments | The Dot Diaries
https://thedotdiaries.wordpress.com/2014/01/13/moving-apartments
A Brit abroad in Singapore. January 13, 2014. We hit 2 years in Singapore back in November, and our old lease expired not long after in early December (most leases in Singapore seem to be 2 years, although you can negotiate different terms). I’m not going to do a step-by-step guide to looking for an apartment, as plenty of people have done a much better job of it ( like my friend Crystal over at Expat Bostonians. Back to the drawing board | The Dot Diaries

A Brit abroad in Singapore. Back to the drawing board. October 29, 2013. So, after much silence I decided to start writing in this thing again. The main reason, if I’m honest about it, is that I’m unemployed again so have much more free time to write and explore again. So what happened with the job? So I’ve spent the past week in a rather mild England, celebrating with some of my best friends. I also got the chance to see my family which I was especially delighted about. 4 responses ». A Brit abroad in Singapore. Red – #worldcolours project. March 18, 2013. Ahh, I am SO behind with my #worldcolours project. Red was supposed to be in February so this is more than a little late – eep! Anyway, here are my reds. Hairy strawberry looking plant things I spotted during my first Botanic Gardens trip. Poinsettia at Gardens by the Bay. Will and I having a great time at the Olympics. Lion and his beater – Vietnam. Street shrine in Geylang. Chillis at the market. Filed under Places to go. Blog at ...

Anyway, hopefully I’ll be able to find a bit more time to get back into blogging again and share my latest adventures again. June 30, 2014. Yes … it’s been rather a long time I know. So much has happened since my last post …. I volunteered, started a new (paid) job and got married! I’d recommend it to anyone, hehe! January 13, 2014. The process is well documented on a number of other expat sites too. All IR...

Now Playing: Riptide | The Dot Diaries

A Brit abroad in Singapore. June 30, 2014. Yes … it’s been rather a long time I know. So much has happened since my last post …. I volunteered, started a new (paid) job and got married! So you’ll have to excuse my online silence – it just became one more thing to remember to do and, trust me on this, planning a wedding fills your head with a million things so it got lost in the madness somewhat. But being married is fabulous so far! I’d recommend it to anyone, hehe! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. My Singapo...

Singapore Bucket List | The Dot Diaries
https://thedotdiaries.wordpress.com/singapore-bucket-list
A Brit abroad in Singapore. Some of the more observant of you may have noticed that sometimes I refer to my ‘bucket list’. This was put together for me by my wonderful friend Kiri before I left the UK, and is a list of stuff I have to do whilst in Singapore. The deal is that I have to get a photo of the thing on the list, preferably with my face in there somewhere! This is not a comprehensive list of things to do in Singapore, and she’s actually deliberately left off some of the more touristy stuff.
