reflections of a math teacher: April 2010
http://mrsilovepi.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Reflections of a math teacher. Sunday, April 11, 2010. I have been reading a lot in the blog world and there has been a lot of discussion about grading. The big debate seems to be since we have. To give students a grade, what should that grade represent? Just like in any debate, there are two major parties - SBG and I'm not sure what to name the second (traditional? I think that almost has a negative connotation). There a couple of internal conflicts I am having with the school I am teaching at now.

John, Melissa, Lillian, and Reeve. Saturday, November 17, 2012. Lillian had her very first program at school on Thursday. I think I was more excited about it than she was. Oh, well! She did a good job. No melt downs. I totally had to bride her to take a nap before the program. So, glad I did it! She looked so cute and did a great job! I was very proud of her! She was so excited that grandma and grandpa got to come and watch her. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Well, I started to think about why I wanted her in school.learning, socialization, a routine.so I sucked it up. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

reflections of a math teacher: Classroom Management
http://mrsilovepi.blogspot.com/2010/02/classroom-management.html
Reflections of a math teacher. Sunday, February 28, 2010. I have been overwhelmed with the feeling of wanting to start all over - a new school year and a new group of students. However, it is only March. Plus, what will I do differently when I do get to start over in the fall? I have no idea. This last week I tried to pay attention more to what is giving me this feeling, is it something I am doing or my students or both? Also, I have failed to establish that the talking and noise in the classroom should ...

http://johnandmelissapotts.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
John, Melissa, Lillian, and Reeve. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. 18 Weeks and counting. I made it to 18 weeks.yipee! However, tomorrow, I will be 19 weeks. Which means I get closer and closer to finding out the sex of the baby! I am feeling that this baby is a boy! John feels the same way. Last time, I had a really strong feeling that Lily was a girl and I was right. So, maybe I have ESP or something? I really don't care what I am having, just as long as the baby is healthy! I am finally sleeping better!
