Diary of a Homeschool Mom: Nature Journal
http://diaryofahsmom.blogspot.com/2012/09/nature-journal.html
Diary of a Homeschool Mom. Tuesday, September 25, 2012. I won't write about pulling my hair while trying to organize, locate and grade papers for Jenna's classes, or the number of times I had to confiscate slowly deflating balloons that were releasing horrible whining, squawking sounds during class time. Instead, we'll focus on the orderly, peaceful, Charlotte Mason-y side of things. This melted my heart. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. A Few of My Favorite Things.

http://diaryofahsmom.blogspot.com/2012/10/disney-world-2012.html
Diary of a Homeschool Mom. Thursday, October 25, 2012. We are s l o w l y getting back into school mode after a week vacation to Disney World and visiting family in the Sunshine State. And might I mention, it was sunshiney and warm. A perfect 86 degrees. We had a magical time together! I think this was our 2nd out of 5 times riding the Tower of Terror. LOVED that ride! I think we had a Fast Pass for this one, as it's practically empty. Jared and Jenna riding down Summit Plummet, a 14 story drop! Hello Fr...

Diary of a Homeschool Mom. Saturday, December 8, 2012. Our craft table is quite messy and festive looking as we crank out our homemade ornaments. Some will be gifts so I won't picture them all, but here are a few. Thanks to all the creative people on Pinterest for giving us the ideas. Fa la la la la.la la la la! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Saying "yes" to serving God and my family through homeschooling my two kids was the best decision I've made! View my complete profile. A Few of My Favorite Things.

Diary of a Homeschool Mom: This Week
http://diaryofahsmom.blogspot.com/2012/11/this-week.html
Diary of a Homeschool Mom. Thursday, November 29, 2012. Yesterday was the last day of fall semester at our homeschool co-op. We probably won't be signing up for spring semester so we can crack down and get back to a five day schedule. Both kids felt like there were pros and cons to joining the group last spring, but overall I think they were both enriched by the curriculum, spending time in a group setting and support in being with like minded homeschoolers. I'm so proud of her! Jared is feeling very rel...

Diary of a Homeschool Mom: Newsboys!
http://diaryofahsmom.blogspot.com/2012/10/newsboys.html
Diary of a Homeschool Mom. Tuesday, October 30, 2012. We are now survivors of Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy! What a night we had. I feel like I slept with one eye open, expecting to have a tree crash down on our house any minute. Thankfully, no trees fell down in our yard- it only looks like some monster chewed up a tree and spit it out all over our yard and house. Besides the excitement of Sandy, we got to go to a Newsboys concert just the night before the storm came. We had such a great time! A heard a co...

Diary of a Homeschool Mom: May 2012

Diary of a Homeschool Mom. Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Her 13th birthday is one we are sure to remember. Not just because of the age but her toothless circumstances. We didn't plan for it to happen this way, but she ended up having oral surgery 3 days before her birthday. She had ten. Needless to say, she's been pretty uncomfortable for the past few days and has eaten more tapioca pudding and mashed potatoes than she has her whole life! She's got quite a few stitches and a lot of gums! Thursday, May 10, 2012.

Diary of a Homeschool Mom: January 2012
http://diaryofahsmom.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Diary of a Homeschool Mom. Friday, January 20, 2012. I Found My Little Girl. The transition from girlhood into adolescence often leaves me stunned, baffled, scratching my head and asking "Why me? I am thankful that God is helping me to embrace this natural part of life.today anyhow! I wrote this poem today:. I Found My Little Girl. There was, once upon a time, my little girl so amiable and nimble. Climbing trees, skipping rocks, running through the day. Look, Daddy and Mommy, I made you this.". From the...

Diary of a Homeschool Mom: August 2012
http://diaryofahsmom.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Diary of a Homeschool Mom. Monday, August 6, 2012. Our trip to NY.in pictures. We had such a great time for our first trip to New York! It was hilarious. Just to be able to sit back and let our shuttle bus driver do his thing, having no responsiblility or concern for these hoards of angry drivers was highly entertaining for me! Once we finally got out of the intersection our bus errupted in a round of cheers and clapping. It's an experience I will hold dear to my heart! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Diary of a Homeschool Mom: September 2012
http://diaryofahsmom.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Diary of a Homeschool Mom. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. For the past 21 days I've been following a plan for reading my bible through in 3 months. The idea was introduced to me by my mom. Ever since I started the challenge I've been hooked and cannot wait to reach my goal. My mom shared with me a seminar taught by a woman named Judy Reamer called "Divide and Conquer". She presented a method which was taught to her by Philip Green; a man who read the bible 15,000 times through in his lifetime! I won't wr...
