Here's a fun list of different ways to sing songs to make it more fun! Like the Bishop would. Like a ventriloquist (teeth together, big smile). Like a soldier ("about face" - they face the back of the room). Like a bee (bzzz). With a British accent. Sing every other word. Under water (put finger across lips and wiggle them up and down while you sing). War cry (pat your mouth as you sing). Mirror (face your neighbor and sing to them). Sing with nose plugged. Hiccup after each line. Three in a Row. The kid...

This month (January 2013), the Visiting Teaching message revolves around missionary work. One of the scriptures that caught my attention was about laboring in the Lord's vineyard. So, I took that idea and ran with it! My original idea was to tie these little cards to miniature bottles of Martinelli's Sparkling Cider that I saw at the dollar store. Wouldn't you know it.they only carry them during Christmas. So, I bought some grape juice instead. It still worked out well. Enjoy! The Immortality of the Soul.

A friend in my ward is the Assistant Camp Director for the Young Women. This week they are giving out camp awards at Mutual and she asked me to make her a certificate for each of the girls and leaders. I made mine more personalized with the name of our ward and the month/year, but here is a generic award for those of you out there to print and fill in! It's a fun theme to work with as you instruct the girls' on their divine nature as princesses, Daughters of a Heavenly King. Enjoy! I'm Going There Someday.

Of God and Change. Just another bunny in the burrow. What I found that was interesting, in this path to self discovery — one phrase kept popping up, “If you want change, start with yourself”. At first I wasn’t sure what to think of this. I had so many mixed emotions. The most prominent being, why should I have to change? Haven’t I done enough of that already? The job was rough at the beginning and I was scared to death because I was wired to be a Secretary not an IT Technician or rather “Level II A...

A glimpse into the creative world that I reside in at times. :). Friday, February 5, 2016. Washi Tape Meets Keyboard. When I first heard of washi tape, I wasn't impressed. When I first saw washi tape, I still wasn't impressed. Until I found this tape:. I fell in love with this on the spot and only bought one roll! What was I thinking? Here is the result:. As you can see, the pink argyle tape does not like to stay put. I have a feeling I am going to have to replace at least the space bar piece. The keyboa...
