A Blog about my days. Wednesday, July 30, 2014. The tests are back and the diagnosis for my friend is ALS. It is a horrible, debilitating disease. It just slowly takes away your body. Not your mind- just your ability to function. Science has not found a cause or a cure. And she says that she will do everything she can to live into her 90's. Exercise, eat right, keep working. All the things she is already doing. Only more so. That's her plan. That's her outlook. That is now her passion. That is her courage.

The heat and lack of circulation in our rooms made for a sleepless night and cranky people. But we had a concert at 9PM in Melages and a sightseeing stop on the way. A Blog about my days. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Trip of a Lifetime- Day 10 Competition. We FINALLY got some information from the Florence International Choral Festival (aka FICF). We still weren't sure WHERE we would sing but now we knew that we were in the program! There wasn't a lot of picture taking on this part of the bus trip. Many of us were pulling out our music and working on the little things that make us better. Town square somewhere between Genoa and Florence. Unknown church in unknown town.
