Sunday, October 19, 2014. I want my body back. and I think I'm finally on the right track! People, including my own husband, offered me many reasons as to why I might be feeling off:. I didn't get enough sleep. My nutrition must be off. I need more recovery than others. Standard CBC test results - "I'm totally fine". Iron, B12 and ferritin values - "highest values I've ever seen". I consulted with my coach, Matt Dixon. I know what it feels like to have gears in training and racing. this year I was al...

http://soccertotriathlete.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Nick Rizzo- AG Triathlete. This is my blog that will document my life as an age group triathlete. Tuesday, November 4, 2014. What I learned this year in Triathlon. I have been MIA in the blog posting world for about 2 months now. This was due to a few factors. The primary one being that it was college soccer season up here in Minnesota and everywhere else in the country for that matter. In no specific order:. Always check your gear. Recovery means resting on rest days, eating the right foods, and sleeping.

The Traveling Triathlete: September 2014
http://swimbikeruntheworld.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
I swam, biked, and ran all over the world and now I'm livin' it up in Chicago. Saturday, September 27, 2014. Ironman 70.3 World Championships- Mont-Tremblant. That Sunday in Mont-Tremblant, it turns out, wasn't a dream. It was reality. It was, however, one of those magical days, so few and far between, that make all the struggles and sacrifices worth it. The whole week leading into the race felt, in so many ways, different. And magic in its own way . I felt than usual before big races. And truly mean it.

I swam, biked, and ran all over the world and now I'm livin' it up in Chicago. Sunday, November 23, 2014. Ironman Arizona 2014- Redemption. Despite having to really drag myself through several weeks of literal and figurative darkness and fear and all that stuff prior to Ironman Arizona, by the time we arrived in Tempe, I was actually in quite a good state of mind. I knew (I'm learning! Spotted on pre-race ride. I k new it'd be a good day. Was it excitement of being able to "redeem" myself? Without much w...
