Thursday, May 26, 2011. To ABA or not to ABA? In the last few months before we quit ABA, our insurance suddenly deigned to cover a fraction of it. Now the therapy center is asking us if we'd like to come back for some hours this summer. Ahhh, the joy of deciding how much and what therapy to get! My gut says no, but who knows? Thursday, June 27, 2013. Haven't written a post in so long. And looking back, either I used to be delusional, or the twins have really regressed in their talking and a few other things. Possibly why I don't post any more. i think they still know all the same things or more, but they are just in a less social phase? Well, these things always come and go. Thanks for posting again. Sunday, December 11, 2011. Articulation sneaking up on you. Sometime between last Christmas and this Christmas, B. can sing songs with perfectly recognizable words. It struck me when I heard "Santa Claus is Coming to Town"' turned around looking for G., and found myself looking at B. How could that clear little voice be coming out of B? When did this happen? Wednesday, April 11, 2012. I am a true blog slacker. For a brief update, we are having some problems with scratching and biting. I wear long-sleeved shirts. Other wise I get looks and people asking, "Do you have a cat? J (the non-autistic brother) is absolutely obsessed with Michael Jackson and dancing to the Wii game "The Michael Jackson Experience". Monday, August 29, 2011. It may be time to exhale, relax, and stop waking up at 4 AM feeling panicky. We have a new teacher again this year, but I think she's another good one. The twins actually seem happier in the afternoons this year, which is an encouraging sign. Last year G. used to hide in his bed and have to be coaxed out.
