Finding my feet as a new mum. End of an era. Therefore I am now in pain and look wonky! I have been doing research trying to find out how to deal with this and am here is what I have learnt:. You are meant to avoid expressing, but if you have to then just do enough to make yourself feel more comfortable (otherwise your signal your body to produce more milk). You are meant to massage your boobs to avoid any milk duct blockages which could result in mastitis. You can take ibuprofen to relieve the pain.

Finding my feet as a new mum. So we have decided to give Viktor some solids. Now don’t shoot me just yet! So the magic milestones are:. 1) can sit up (supported) and support own head – check. 2) can pick up items (e.g. food) and place it in their mouth – check… or at least most of the time, occasionally he gets his nose or eye! 3) swallows more than he spits out – check. Hopefully this didn’t put him off food! We will persist though! 4 Month Sleep Regression. Keep rolling rolling… (22w). End of an era.

Not only do you have to remember a million and one things to take with you, but you also start to see things in a whole new light! Enough is enough, at some point you run out of reasons for your baby not sleeping well at night and come to the conclusion that the problem is behavioural, probably because you have created negative sleep associations. I know we have, but I just always thought it was something more than that.
