Hidden NYC – Museum of the American Gangster and Theatre 80 St Marks. One of the vendors we met this week is called Theatre 80. And we want to make sure everyone knows about them. It’s is an incredible jewel of history located in. It used to be a speakeasy. The only way people could get in was through its one entrance, a big metal door through the local butch shop. Al Capone used to go there. Then it turned into a jazz hall. Legends like Frank Sinatra and John Coltrane performed there. August 8, 2015.
