Thing 25: Power up your browser! I converted to a Mac years ago and always found Firefox to be a superior web browser to Safari. I quickly discovered how to change themes and add my Zotero extension (lifesaver during college! My husband’s laptop is a PC though and I frequently use it and always use Chrome. Another issue is space…which is ironic when considering a Maker”space”. My library is not huge and while not being overstuffed, all available space is being used. I thought about doing a good weed of the nonfiction to make way, especially materials that we mostly use databases for because of quickly changing information. Often times, I find myself exchanging several e-mails with colleagues about a proposed meeting time or re-scheduling of a class.
