January 2011 | The Hopping, Scooping Twitcher
https://musinganorak.wordpress.com/2012/01/09/january-2011
The Hopping, Scooping Twitcher. Or The Musings of an Anorak. Pubs Visited in 2011. January 9, 2012. First up was a trip to the Stadium of Light for Sunderland v Notts County in the FA Cup. To be fair it was another fairly poor game, but with the visitors winning 2-0 I did at least witness a bona fide cup upset. It also saw the first small landmark on the way to completing my goal – the Premiership was completed. Guess where I headed the following Saturday? Indeed – the North-East of England! To break the...

The Greatest Sporting Event on THE PLANET! All I have to do now is wait for. To decide what I’ll be allowed to see…. Only another 13 months to wait before I could actually use my tickets…. A Slight Editorial Change | The Hopping, Scooping Twitcher

The Hopping, Scooping Twitcher. Or The Musings of an Anorak. Pubs Visited in 2011. March 14, 2011. A Slight Editorial Change. Yet again I find myself falling behind with the blog. In an attempt to speed up at least some of the information contained I have decided to add seperate pages listing pubs visited and new beers drunk in 2011. The thinking behind this is that it should be very quick to update these lists on a regular basis as I haven’t got to compose any accompanying prose. Less lists more prose!

Thursday, 6 October 2011. Arsenal vs Shrewsbury Town (20/09/11). Carling Cup 3rd Round. Gibbs 33’, Oxlade-Chamberlain 58’, Benayoun 78’. Gear Shrewsbury though were only here for the evening out and they had brought an impressive number down from Shropshire with their support basically filling out their allocation as they sold 5,000 tickets for this game. (Fair play to them for coming down here in numbers – and they were in good voice before KO). Photos from Arsenal vs Shrewsbury Town. Belgium vs Tunisia...

Although AFC Fylde are actually based in the middle of nowhere (more on that later), they are officially mapped as being part of the Lancashire town of Warton which is a struggle to write about anything noteworthy there! Friday, 13 June 2014. World Cup Food Off – Friday 13th June. MEXICO vs CAMEROON (5pm). Mexico - Chicken enchiladas with red mole sauce. While it could have been easy to go with a bog-standard enchilada or fajita, the red mole sauce made this slightly different the usual bog standard Mexican.
