The boys of our dreams… | musingmistletoes

Wisdom in an airtight jar. Relationships in modern day India. The boys of our dreams…. Posted in Relationships in modern day India. Initially, he gave me more than I gave him. Someone had to begin. He was courageous enough to give without expecting. That helped. I was childish and insolent. But with his patience, I started growing up. All of us eventually do, don’t we? I am a glorified housewife now in an alien country. Was that worth him, the boy who wasn’t the boy of my dreams? Enter your comment here.

Wisdom in an airtight jar. Relationships in modern day India. Movie Review “After Lucia”: Screened as a part of “Renaissance of Mexican film and soft power”. After Lucia is an intense emotional story that will suck you into its world like quicksand from the very first scene. Its a film that touches upon several themes like coping with the loss of a loved one, dealing with grief, bullying in high school, gender inequality and how society treats its vulnerable. Welcome to the inner caverns of my brain. Enjoy. This started out as a conversation about being tired and feeling the need to cuddle up to someone, and led to me thinking of all the intimate connections you make when you lie in bed next to someone; be it a friend or a lover. It’s been a very long time since I wrote, so this may make no sense in a couple of days. But, I’m happy. Happier. Note: I don’t know why the paragraphs aren’t reflecting.😐 ]. Colours merge as we do,. Tarnished with scars from battles.

Welcome to the inner caverns of my brain. Enjoy. My girl would never have done something like this. She would never have paraded around the neighbourhood in those clothes, inviting all the boys to look at her- making a spectacle of herself. I’d never have let her. This one looked so much like her. Had she had those shoes as well? I bought them for her when she’s turned 16. 8220;So, where do you live? 8220;This is a fancy neighbourhood. What does a guy like you need to do this for? You seem like a catch!

Cynicism. | Cranialrumblings's Blog
https://cranialrumblings.wordpress.com/2011/01/02/cynicism
Welcome to the inner caverns of my brain. Enjoy. I don’t like who I’m becoming. Everyday, I feel like I’m losing a little piece of myself- the job hunt, a general sense of failure. A sinking feeling that, just maybe, I won’t achieve the things I want to. I hope it’s temporary, but the growing cynic in me begs to differ. There’s so much uncertainty surrounding me now. When I think of myself a year ago, the world was my oyster. I could have done ANYTHING. Been anyone. 2010 has been a very interesting year.

Welcome to the inner caverns of my brain. Enjoy. I want to be 16 again. I want to be 16 again. Not because I liked the people I hung out with then. Not because I particularly miss who I was. Not because that was the best year of my life. I want to be 16 because of how it felt to throw myself into whatever came my way–surrendering myself to a situation, without thinking about expectations, implications or anything beyond that moment. The moment where it felt like the right thing to do. 7 Responses to R...

Miriam's Musings
Organizing my thoughts and writing up a storm as I pass my 9-5 hours in front of the computer. Sunday, July 8, 2007. At 3 AM the other night, I was restless but strangely motivated. I hopped out of bed, ready to apply for new jobs, read the news and write new posts for my blog. My unexpected insomnia left me with extra time, no distractions and plenty of jittery energy. Unfortunately, once I settled myself at my desk, I hit a major roadblock. Sunday, May 6, 2007. In general, I’m a master at picking...

Musings to Mirror the Soul. October 20, 2013. If they want to tackle health issues like obesity, why not put a tax on video games like Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox? Instead of children playing outside and burning calories, they sit in front of a screen for hours on end; the only parts of their body performing any exercise are their thumbs. Do they get charged higher premiums? Haven’t governments learned that so called sin taxes those on things like alcohol and cigarettes just don’t work? Governments te...

The Musing Mom
The musings of a mom of five. Monday, January 6, 2014. They have become one of my favorite foods over the years but a pain to make. I hated having to saute veggies in one pan while cooking my chicken or beef in another. Now I don't have to! I discovered on Pinterest that I can bake all the ingredients in one pan. Yay! So I have taken my recipe for fajitas and turned it into a one pan wonder! 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or 1 1/2 lbs steak. Taco seasoning (I use my recipe). Links to this post.
