http://musings-onthemove.blogspot.com/2016/09/what-our-days-look-like-now.html

What our Days Look Like Now. A few weeks into the school year, and things are BUSY! Our day-to-day is an adjustment still, too. I made a lovely schedule before the year started, which looks very pretty hanging on the side of my refrigerator. All the things are getting done, even, just not at the times listed. Still adjusting! Musings on the Move: March 2007

http://musings-onthemove.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html

The Great Declutter continues. Quite a while ago I posted about beginning "The Great Declutter" (TGD) and going through the bookshelves, which was hard. This past week, I got a great scare though - Quentin came home and told me that he was pretty sure we wouldn't be able to take very much at all. When pressed, he said "Maybe five boxes." I panicked. Did I mention that this sent me into a huge panic? Suddenly, I feel like the richest woman in the world! Links to this post. The rest of the pictures. Sorry ...

http://musings-onthemove.blogspot.com/2016/06/go-2016-freshmen-orientation.html

2016 - Freshmen Orientation. Well, next step is done. The Writer is now a fully oriented college freshman. Two days of seminars, activities, lectures, food, information sessions, check-list appointments, and general "orienting" and now he's ready. Schedule is triple checked and printed, email has been set up, the dean of his major has been met, dorm slept in, food tasted, financial aid sorted out, housing applications turned in and potential friends met. It all feels much more official and real now, this...

Father-Son Cub Scout Bake Sale: A Comedy of Errors. It's that time of year.the Father-Son Cub Scout Bake Sale. Last year, The Writer won 1st place in the Cub Scout category for his "Cub Scout Candy Land" themed cake. A DISABLED woman who smoked 30 cigarettes a day died in a bedroom fire after refusing to have a smoke alarm fitted because she feared her habit would set it off, an inquest heard. Musings on the Edge . A great book should leave you with many experiences, and slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading." — William Styron. We wiggle our bare toes through the cool blades. Of crab grass, while we stare at the cloud sheep. As they form, reform, torn to pieces by. Wolvish winds whose howls are punctuated. Musings over Nothing

Today I sharing one of those oldest poem I wrote and I wasn't ready to share it with the world (yes I am slightly crazy like that). But now I feel different and I just am ready to do anything to get out of this lull moment - what other than doing something that I avoided doing :). Since, nine or ten, we were. Everything did we share;. You broke a tooth of a foe,. Who twisted my left toe;. You dropped off games. When I wasn’t joining;. My notes you always ended losing. Making me call you, names;. 10 thing...

Morning Musings

Thursday, August 15, 2013. Probably the most important ability the Christian could have is availability. Until we make our selves available, the Lord cannot use us, or at least will not. Availability means that we are willing to go wherever He commands; to do whatever He wishes; and to be whatever we are expected to be. We need to give ourselves to the Lord, and to His service, whatever level of service that may be. 8220;But without faith it is impossible to please him:” (Heb. 11:6 in part). Man is a tri...

I am now a full-time stay at home mom (yet still an accountant at heart.there may be a travel agent somewhere in there trying to get out too! I now stay home with the four boys that God has blessed me with. I also have a wonderful husband and love our life together. I am a glass half-full kind of person and look for the adventures that are out there waiting for me every day. 17 July, 2015.
