Musings on the Edge ...
Musings on the Edge . A great book should leave you with many experiences, and slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading." — William Styron. We wiggle our bare toes through the cool blades. Of crab grass, while we stare at the cloud sheep. As they form, reform, torn to pieces by. Wolvish winds whose howls are punctuated. By loud blasts, los peos de los peónes. Cuando se mueren) our father told us. Not telling us, los desaparecidos. That they were shot by junta, juntos. Curve the...

Musings on the Move
School Updates, and Sewing Updates, and. A month since I last posted.oops! I'm trying to be better; I know some family still reads this and follows for updates on us, so I really should keep writing. Things are going really, really well. I feel like this is our best home school year ever.only taken me how long to get here? A funny note about math: The Artist and The Adventurer are both learning about perimeter and area right now; the Artist was a little surprised to overhear that one day! Our day-to-day ...

Musings over Nothing
Today I sharing one of those oldest poem I wrote and I wasn't ready to share it with the world (yes I am slightly crazy like that). But now I feel different and I just am ready to do anything to get out of this lull moment - what other than doing something that I avoided doing :). Since, nine or ten, we were. Everything did we share;. You broke a tooth of a foe,. Who twisted my left toe;. You dropped off games. When I wasn’t joining;. My notes you always ended losing. Making me call you, names;. 10 thing...
Morning Musings
Thursday, August 15, 2013. Probably the most important ability the Christian could have is availability. Until we make our selves available, the Lord cannot use us, or at least will not. Availability means that we are willing to go wherever He commands; to do whatever He wishes; and to be whatever we are expected to be. We need to give ourselves to the Lord, and to His service, whatever level of service that may be. 8220;But without faith it is impossible to please him:” (Heb. 11:6 in part). Man is a tri...

Scrapping Life
This blog is to journal through my scrapbooking. It's a place to show off my pages and anything else I feel like. I am now a full-time stay at home mom (yet still an accountant at heart.there may be a travel agent somewhere in there trying to get out too! I now stay home with the four boys that God has blessed me with. I also have a wonderful husband and love our life together. I am a glass half-full kind of person and look for the adventures that are out there waiting for me every day. 17 July, 2015.

Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Last night the kids and I went jogging. Jess helped get them ready to go and wisely instructed Jayson to go to the bathroom before we left on the run. He promptly responded, "No thanks. I will just go outside". Unintended consequence of the Fathers and Sons campout. I guess I should have better explained that we save outside "relief" for "special occasions". Or when you're out toiletpapering the neighborhood at 3 in the morning. Sunday, May 9, 2010. Thursday, April 22, 2010. Rylee ...
Musings
Monday, December 19, 2016. We've come to the fourth week of Advent. We've all heard this story thousands of times. I'm afraid it often becomes just words on a page or noise in our ears, but this week, let's slow down still more. The God of the universe became one of us. The Word became flesh. Maker of all things. Tiny, helpless, weak, dependent. God entrusts a teenage mother and her very puzzled husband to raise this baby. See Feel. Touch. Hear. Taste. Smell. Take time to mediate on love this week. We've...
Musings
Monday, 21 April 2014. How does my garden grow? This year I have turned in to an avid gardener. I experimented with flowers and shrubs and sometimes veggies. This is our ' teach the kid about nature' phase. She is learning to pluck my flowers even when I guard them minutely so I guess she is learning something. Monday, 3 December 2012. Excuses for not doing anything productive. Monday, 3 September 2012. Periwinkle that adorns my home. I don't have a green thumb but this little one seems not to mind!
