Discussing Matters Most Important to Artful Journeying. Thursday, April 23, 2015. FIERCE MOTHER: Embodying an aspect of the archetypal feminine. If an alligator or crocodile has shown up, look for an opportunity to touch very primal energies. Musings Amid the Thorns | Essays About Life, Faith, and the Life of Faith

Musings Amid the Thorns. Essays About Life, Faith, and the Life of Faith. Waiting, it seems to me, is a defining characteristic of the spiritual life. In my mid-twenties, I rediscovered God and eagerly adopted the opening verse of Psalm 63 as a recurring prayer. Oh God, you are my God whom I seek; for you my flesh pines and my soul thirsts like the earth, parched, lifeless and without water. Since that exchange, I have come to view the ache as my companion on the journey. Now, we wait together. Click to ...

(A)musings of A Wandering Mind

A)musings of A Wandering Mind. October 26, 2009. I suppose it’s completely understandable to be filled with doubts and apprehension when you are about to become a parent for the first time. Am I ready for parenthood? Will I be a good mother? Because even being a parent has become a competitive sport. The supermoms and superdads with their superkids fill mere mortals with dread even before baby is born. Insecurity, thy name is a first-time-parent. Posted by Asawari Badve. June 10, 2008. Dancing on the edge of the flame on my candle lit tonight. 8220;You are the sky my spirit circles in, the love inside love, the resurrection place. Let this window be your ear. Musings and Art Things

Musings and Art Things. Listen to my art beat. Monday, October 31, 2016. I just finished watching Leonardo DiCaprio's "Before the flood" and I just wonder what is the fucking point of anything? But from this movie. I mean, I think it's great and fucking genius that DiCaprio did this movie, what better way to reach a ton of people than through a movie? Better than music, better than any political channels, a movie is extremely approachable and easy to reach masses with. What do I do? Before or sometimes i...

Musings, and a search for truth

Musings, and a search for truth. Sunday, April 26, 2015. Public Complaints Require Public Apology. The speakers in Church today yielded many insights (i.e: “Just as we aren’t perfect yet, our families aren’t perfect yet, either”). One of those was an answer to my prayers for the day: to forgive. That said, I do not regret my lack of support for the program going forward; I have heard too many others who had experiences too similar to mine to believe that my difficulties were an isolated experience. Living the dream. Mainly sunny with a chance of naps. Thursday, January 11, 2018. I popped out for five minutes in August 2016 and forgot to come back. Things have happened, as they do. We lost our lovely dog Star just over a year ago. I miss her, especially during the day, when I am mostly here on my own. The house seems very empty without her. In October 2016 my brother's baby girl was born and I am loving being an Auntie for the first time. Thursday, January 11, 2018. Links to this post. August: ten, ...

Several families visited the sister church Sunday morning as a result of the Saturday visits. Wow. So, where do you go from that high? Can it get better? Umm, is God still on the throne? Two were saved in the afternoon service. Ahhh, but we still have to get those bus-loads of kids home. Our ride home was wonderful as well. We had noodles for a snack. ...It wa...
