Through My Lens – Linda Geiger Photography

Have you ever been disappointed when your flash drive becomes cantankerous and refuses to play nicely with a laptop computer belonging to someone else. Well, that happened to me yesterday. I had sixteen photographs that I wanted to share with some colleagues. To remedy that problem, I’m sharing a video here on this blog of those sixteen images. Http:/ musingsbylinda.com/photography/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Winslett 2017 Gathering.mp4. March 6, 2017. March 6, 2017. Hillsides Covered with Daffodils.

Clues from the Heading & Salutation of a Partial Letter. July 31, 2015. While consolidating the voluminous mass of paper in my family files recently, I came across a copy of one page of a letter with the salutaion “Dear Neice [Niece].” The author of the letter told of the cold winter in Montana and the hard ground that was not plowable. Who was this mystery writer? Tags: Albe C Davis. Permanent link to this article:. Http:/ www.musingsbylinda.com/MyFamily/? July 30, 2015. Life gets in the way sometimes &...

September 17, 2015. During this month of September, I’ve been able to attend two stamping gatherings hosted by Diane Squires. A Stampin’ Up demonstrator. Diane is always enthusiastic, cheerful, and full of ideas. The nicest part of the gatherings is the opportunity to learn new stamping techniques and chat with other gals who enjoy the craft. On rare occasion, I branch out on my own and do a bit of stamping here at home. Here are some of the items I’ve made this month. This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Our lives take many twists and turns as we travel through time. Some changes result because of re- location, career changes, retirement, family situations, and interests. Valuable lessons were learned and I’ve always been able to hold my head high. Our little school offered only two years of French, so even if I could find the funds, attending a college to become a librarian was out of the question. Because of my “new life’s path,” I will no longer post articles on this blog. This post has no tag. Your $...

During the past twenty-five years or so I did extensive historical research on Georgia families having either European or Cherokee (or both) heritage. As we continue on our journey through life, at some point out energies and interests change. With that being said it is time for me to retire as a professional genealogist on June 31, 2015. I will continue to work on my personal family heritage, but that is based in New England and the United Kingdom. It has been a great journey! This post has no tag.

Reflections of various topics by Ken McLeod, Buddhist teacher, executive coach, and management consultant. Saturday, January 21, 2017. Post-election: a crooked tree in changing times. Before the election, I posted a short piece about a Buddhist response to Trump. I described how to be present with difficulty feelings, without trying to change or control what we experience, and how that opened up the possibility of finding peace and clarity in the midst of our reactivity and confusion. Even wise leaders m...

Sunday, August 9, 2009. There's always gonna be another mountain. We're always gonna wanna make it move. Always gonna be an uphill battle. Sometimes we're gonna have to lose. Ain't about how fast we get there. Ain't about what's waiting on the other side. Saturday, July 25, 2009. In this time of fear. When prayers so often proves in vain. Hope seems like the summer birds. Too swiftly flown away. Yet now I'm standing here. My heart's so full I can't explain. Seeking faith and speaking words. The past one ...

I came into this world with nothing,. And still have alot left! Our Christmas Wishes for you! As I sit here wondering what to write. Of the things that could have been and might. Thoughts, like butterflies, drifting in and out. Casting light on memories that were long forgot. Thoughts never, ever stop do they. They just keep coming, even when we sleep,. Though perhaps some we don't remember. Until perhaps a view, scent, or something similar. Where are they now? Our Christmas Wish for You!

This is bit of my journey, learning and discovering the truth of Scripture, making mistakes and overcoming failures. Friday, September 16, 2011. Is she going to fully recover? The answer was out of reach, and all we had to trust was God. as her body lurched with every breath my mind raced; what if she gets to tired? What if she cant breath on her own anymore? Is this going to cause long lasting damage to her body? How long will it take for her to recover? How is this going to end? Composed by Luke W.
