Once 'round the Temple. The Blog of one opinionated Polytheist Pagan! Friday, May 31, 2013. Pagan Blog Project: Kind of Strange. It is another blog that I have had and abandoned, but am bringing back. At the same time that I am posting this here, I am posting this there. After this post, Pagan Blog Project will no longer be posted at this blog, but at Once 'Round The Temple. Halos even look cool on the guy. And this art piece was done. Rituals. Once 'round the Temple. The Blog of one opinionated Polytheist Pagan! Monday, March 26, 2012. I Can Dream of Pagan Temples to! Again I think of Star Foster's two posts on Pagan Temples, and lately have realized that I have been dreaming of the same thing to. I to have looked at local, abandoned churches and just wondered the "what if? I will do something within my religious community for my children, and for my children's children! I quote Barack Obama, yes we can! Eventually, the day will come for us to...

Once 'round the Temple. The Blog of one opinionated Polytheist Pagan! Saturday, January 28, 2012. Are We Really Open Source? I had a really deep blog planned out on here about death and the psychopomp aspect of Mercury, but I was really tired when I wrote it, the blog slipped my mind, and when I was going to write it, I came across this post on The Wild Hunt. The blog discusses the "open sorce" nature of Hinduism and how that can be related to Contemporary Paganism as a whole. Kyle of New Jersey. While I...

Once 'round the Temple: Pagan and Protestant, Dionysus and Apollo, and the Buddha
http://onceroundthetemple.blogspot.com/2013/08/pagan-and-protestant-dionysus-and.html
Once 'round the Temple. The Blog of one opinionated Polytheist Pagan! Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Pagan and Protestant, Dionysus and Apollo, and the Buddha. I am a Buddhist. I am also a Pagan. I am more the guy on the left than the right. Every culture, religion, etc. has it's Apollonian and Dionysian sides, and it would be wrong to deny that, but it seems to come to a head with Western Buddhism. I personally call it the "Two 'P's'" of Western Buddhism. We have Protestant Buddhism. Kyle of New Jersey.

Once 'round the Temple: Let's Talk About Superstition
http://onceroundthetemple.blogspot.com/2013/08/lets-talk-about-superstition.html
Once 'round the Temple. The Blog of one opinionated Polytheist Pagan! Saturday, August 24, 2013. Let's Talk About Superstition. Who modeled their relations with the gods on political and social terms, scorned the man who constantly trembled with fear at the thought of the gods, as a slave feared a cruel and capricious master. Such fear of the gods was what the Romans meant by "superstition" (Veyne 1987, p. 211). I was looking for a picture about superstition, I did not expect this. So it's okay for them ...

Once 'round the Temple. The Blog of one opinionated Polytheist Pagan! Sunday, June 2, 2013. I am Proudly "inviting the wrath of God". Ed Vitagliano in the most recent magazine of the American Family Association stated thusly:. Thus homosexuality often becomes the barometer of a culture rotting out from the inside. If the problem were only homosexuality, then the simple act of pushing it back into the closet (if that were possible) would be enough to forestall judgment. He goes on to state:. Other great e...
