Some of the patches and made from an old hand knit sweater with some really cool cabeling. Yay for really awesome gifts! And poke around the website, it's really cool! Posted by Runs With Scissors. Now that I have got the whole "not posting an apology for not posting on my blog" thing done I guess I should actually post something on my blog. I guess I could post about not apologizing for not doing NaNoWriMo this year. OBVIOUSLY not everyone shared my thoughts on this topic . Dorothy. Is over half way done her novel, and week two just started! AND she is also in The Tempest.). Posted by Runs With Scissors. Links to this post. Josh, who is not.

Running With Scissors: Tree Climbing
http://phapboy.blogspot.com/2010/04/tree-climbing.html
Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Ah, I love climbing the tree in my backyard. That big, of course. There is one branch I climb up to now that is almost level, so it's quite comfy to sit in. It's still not very nice to read sitting on it though. (I was Wicked. Up there yesterday.). Anyway, here are a couple of pictures I took today from my viewpoint in the tree. Looking up at the sky. A leaf left over from last year. That's all I wanted to say today,. Posted by Runs With Scissors. Word of the Day Wednesday.

Thursday, March 12, 2009. I started a course the other day taught by Dawn. At the local Library. This week we studied Van Gogh and we used chalk pastels. Here's a chalk pastel I did of a detail of the sky from Starry Starry Night. It turned out quite well I think, I used handmade chalk pastels my Mom made, they were really nice! Posted by Runs With Scissors. Links to this post. Wednesday, March 04, 2009. Hey everyone, I am very, very excited. I've titled it {diminutive}[winzig]. Another one. :).

A Brick Short of a Load: Edmonton Fringe reviews part 1!
http://ramblingsofcheesemoo.blogspot.com/2012/08/edmonton-fringe-reviews-part-1.html
Saturday, August 18, 2012. Edmonton Fringe reviews part 1! I realized a few things:. I really freakin' love the Edmonton fringe. I want to keep track of the shows I've seen and my opinions of them. Other people keep asking me what I saw and what I recommend. I have a blog. So Fringe reviews time! My first 3 shows:. Jem Rolls: Ten Starts and an End. A Kind of Alaska. It's based on the same story as that Robin Williams movie, Awakenings, so if you're looking for a good ol' drama, this one's for you. Wow Wh...

A Brick Short of a Load: Learning languages
http://ramblingsofcheesemoo.blogspot.com/2013/01/learning-languages.html
Saturday, January 19, 2013. What everyone asks me when I say I'm learning German, which I find rather odd. So I'm currently in my second semester as a (part-time) university student learning two new languages! And I love it! Or how in German, word-order is drastically different. Does this change the way you think about your sentence? Just because a German verb generally comes earlier in a sentence than an English one, does it give that verb more weight? Well, there's a mini-update on my life! If anyone's...

Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Finally a Fluke post! Okay, I finally have pictures for you guys! Introducing my Fluke ukulele! It has a plastic back, which you would think would make it sound horrible, but it's a gorgeous instrument. It has friction tuners, which I'm still not used to. My Oscar Schmidt has geared tuners, which means that the tuner literally has little gears that are used to hold it in place. Friction tuners use, guess what, friction! And mine has pretty flowers! Wednesday, April 7, 2010. I'm D...

A Brick Short of a Load: June 2010
http://ramblingsofcheesemoo.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 26, 2010. This is just a quick post to tell you guys about my crazy but awesome day! I had my big year-end show for dance today, and it went very well! We had our dress rehearsal this afternoon and then the younger dancers had their recital first, so I was backstage helping them change. I don't think there was a moment when I wasn't changing one of the children except when I had to change myself! We were the sort of "senior number" of that show near the end). I couldn't believe it. So far ...

Every Colour: May 2011
http://every-colour.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 01, 2011. And the return of Nano 2010). I would just like to say that Screnzy 2011 was a success! I reached 102 pages on the 26th (or maybe the 27th. I can't remember), right at the end of the climax. Then I wrote the last scene (AKA the epilogue), and my final total was 111 pages. Crazy! When I started this I was afraid I wouldn't have enough pages (how long can you make a script about a beach trip? Sohooray for Bright Lights! Anyway, that's my writing news! Do you have any? My blog goes thr...

Every Colour: February 2011
http://every-colour.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 22, 2011. The first "real" novel that I wrote was called Every Color (sound familiar? What about soft sci-fi? What about mostly real-life with a hint of magic? And then Vega was supposed to disappear, to go into one of those imaginary worlds, without leaving any sign of her existence. She was supposed to be the magic element of the book. But I couldn't bring myself to do it. I lost interest again. It's going great. I would act in it, if I was twelve. THIS is the medium for Dream...My bl...
