Musings of A Licked Cupcake: A Fetus Of Uncertain Race
http://musingsofalickedcupcake.blogspot.com/2009/03/fetus-of-uncertain-race.html
Musings of A Licked Cupcake. A very dorky blog. Saturday, March 7, 2009. A Fetus Of Uncertain Race. I took Courtney along when I had an ultrasound for my third pregnancy. She was very excited to find out that she was going to have another little sister. A few days later, I got a phone call from Courtney's first grade teacher. She wanted to tell me what Courtney had told the class about her soon-to-be-born sibling:. My mom is having a baby girl and we're going to name her Chloe! March 7, 2009 at 11:27 PM.
Musings of A Licked Cupcake: Meth Truck
http://musingsofalickedcupcake.blogspot.com/2011/02/meth-truck.html
Musings of A Licked Cupcake. A very dorky blog. Monday, February 28, 2011. I'll preface this story with the good news: at least my girls are creative. So, we were in the minivan a few days ago when Courtney told us the story of a meth bust that happened in North Tulsa. Apparently, some guy was cooking meth in his car and was pulled over by a policeman. What gave Meth Man away? It was the smoke belching from his car window. It would go "Riiiiiiiiiicolaaaa! It would do it all awound the nebowhood.". We bus...
Musings of A Licked Cupcake: "Stop Drinking the Sea Monkeys!"
http://musingsofalickedcupcake.blogspot.com/2009/05/stop-drinking-sea-monkeys.html
Musings of A Licked Cupcake. A very dorky blog. Wednesday, May 6, 2009. Stop Drinking the Sea Monkeys! Madeline purchased a Sea Monkey set at the aquarium last year. She was such a good caretaker of her minuscule little pets, feeding them daily and attempting to identify and name each little wriggling speck. One day, convinced that her sea monkeys needed more room to swim and a little fresh air, she poured them into a bucket and set them out on the back deck. May 6, 2009 at 4:48 PM. Musings of A Licked Cupcake: Meansweet Mancat
http://musingsofalickedcupcake.blogspot.com/2009/02/meansweet-mancat.html
Musings of A Licked Cupcake. A very dorky blog. Thursday, February 19, 2009. My cats do the oddest things. Beans has started "kneading" my eye sockets. She's persistent. My arms won't do, or my tummy, or my legs. Her two front paws must. Be on my eyelids and she kneads them until I just cannot take anymore. Why does she do that? If he wants attention, he will bat me with his paws. When I don't give it quickly, he'll jump up from the floor and bat my face. Early one morning, I was going pee-pee, just mind...

Vagrancy in Jerkwater U.S.A. Words about movies and music and books and other stuff where inane commentary is necessary. Aug 6, 2007. I don’t know why I subjected myself to the torture of the Ghost Warrior. I saw the trailer when it came out on the heels of. I heard this movie was actually completed before. And shelved. I guess Fox decided to release it when it saw that a sword-fighting movie could make some money. This movie didn’t make much money. Read on for a spoiler-filled fun time. 8230;they could ...

Vagrancy in Jerkwater U.S.A. Words about movies and music and books and other stuff where inane commentary is necessary. Aug 10, 2007. Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto. Is quite an experience. I was amazed at how I felt transported into a foreign time and place to witness a brutal tale of survival and conquest. The only other movie to achieve this feat in a similar matter is Terrence Malick’s. Passion of the Christ. This scene made me not hungry. I stayed that way for the rest of the film. 8212;Just For Fun.

Vagrancy in Jerkwater U.S.A. Words about movies and music and books and other stuff where inane commentary is necessary. Aug 3, 2007. Today I'm reviewing one of my favorite movies of 2007-. A lot of readers may think I'm being sarcastic, but I'm not. I saw it with my dad in the theatre and watched it again the other night on Blu-Ray. Read on if you'd like to know why I like this movie so much (if this picture of Kate Mara hasn't already enticed you to do so). And a non-Swagger novel,. Upon his recovery, ...

Vagrancy in Jerkwater U.S.A. Words about movies and music and books and other stuff where inane commentary is necessary. Aug 24, 2007. I told my friends and family that I wouldn’t see the. Movie I lied. Here is my excuse for going back on my word. I wanted to kill some time after an appointment to avoid rush hour traffic. I went to the nearby theatre, hoping to see. It wasn’t playing on any of the 24 screens. I didn’t watch. I chose the mechanical robots over the human ones. 2 Nokia cell phones. How does...

Vagrancy in Jerkwater U.S.A. Words about movies and music and books and other stuff where inane commentary is necessary. Aug 29, 2007. Sorry, this review doesn’t contain any Balki Bartokomous jokes. I heard. Sucked, but I watched. Is directed by James Foley, the guy who brought us. A pretty good film),. An awesome film), and. A shit film). This guy is kind of a nobody director, but he still gets movies made. May be his last. Is a perfect mix of inane plotting, bad acting, lame thrills, and doo-doo. Judd ...

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. Warning: I recount the story in detail, so spoilers abound. If you plan on watching the movie, do it first, and then read my review. Vagrancy in Jerkwater U.S.A. Words about movies and music and books and other stuff where inane commentary is necessary. Aug 2, 2007. In my recent review of. The Hills Have Eyes 2. I pointed out a ridiculous horror cliche that appears in the film. It has to do with bats. This review has nothing to do with bats.it has to do with cats, specifically a black cat that torments the mind of Edgar Allan Poe. And Norio Tsuruta’s. Is willing to do one. Vagrancy in Jerkwater U.S.A. Words about movies and music and books and other stuff where inane commentary is necessary. Sep 12, 2007. Last night. It’s not as good as. But its not as bad as that band, Disturbed. This film, helmed by D.J. Caruso (I like how he uses initials instead of a first name…I had a friend in elementary school who went by B.J.—he’s probably changed that by now), is supposedly a modern re-telling of the Hitchcock classic,. Does not deserve the comparison. Two For The Money. The Box O...

Vagrancy in Jerkwater U.S.A. Words about movies and music and books and other stuff where inane commentary is necessary. Jan 5, 2010. I posted this quick review of Paranormal Activity on another website but decided to post it here as well to increase my content and to draw multitudes of readers to my blog. That's my intent. Readership. Numbers. Vagina. Super I think the movie would have been much more effective if the filmmakers pursued the possibility that the female protagonist (can't remember her name...

Musings of a librarian
Musings of a librarian. If only my thoughts were as logical as the Dewey Decimal System. Saturday, October 14, 2006. Ok, I am going to stop being indecisive and move to WordPress. I feel disloyal [to a blog! Help, I really do have an over-developed sense of responsibility], but I can't have two blogs on the go at the same time, and WordPress won, despite some trouble with images, which I hope will sort itself out. So, from now on I'll be posting under the guise of Bookmouse. Wednesday, October 11, 2006.

Musings of A Licked Cupcake
Musings of A Licked Cupcake. A very dorky blog. Saturday, March 5, 2011. My Cat's on Prozac. Mister Sir's (a.k.a. Tarzan) tail has been in for repair several times over the past few years. Once it was broken, once it had a puncture wound, once it was cut to almost the bone, and, now, he won't stop chewing it for some reason. If the Prozac does its job, the cone will come off, but the antidepressants will continue indefinitely. I'll have to come up with a better way to give that cat his pills. They'd driv...
