Patrick blessed him at his mom's house on Thursday, July 30. It was E's four week mark. I gave the opening prayer and then Patrick, Reuben, and a member of Eileen's bishopric circled to give him a name a blessing. Eileen, Sadie, Janae, R and I were in attendance. We have to take pictures? All the fam who were able to come. R loved it though!

I've made some huge breakthroughs on a branch of my family line this month. Getting the hang of being Young Women's Secretary and having lots of meetings and activities. R: Coloring books. Trains. Mega Bloks. Play Doh. Books. Bike riding. YouTube. We do a LOT of coloring these days. R discovered "swimming" on the blue blanket.

It's probably not a good thing when you have to go back in your archives to remember if you set New Year's goals. Heh. Looks like I didn't. Well, I might as well this year, right? Be more consistent about making meals: I go through periods where I just can't stand cooking but I need to set a better example for R and give poor P a break from the cooking. Less TV time for all of us.
