They are soft and moist and the almond frosting makes them delightful. 5 1/2 cups flour. 2 tsp baking soda. 1 1/2 tsp salt. 1 1/2 tsp cloves. 2 1/2 cups brown sugar. 1 1/2 cups apple sauce. Note- I line the cookies sheets with parchment paper and sometimes I can raisins (about 1 1/2 cups). After they cool frost each cookie:. 8 ounce cream cheese, softened. 1 cup = 1/2 pint.

Sift flour once, measure add baking powder, sugar and salt and sift together three times. Add nuts. Melt butter and add to beaten egg and milk. Tuesday, June 7, 2011. A few weeks ago, I was able to fly to Knoxville TN to be with Kylie as she participated in the Global Finals of Destination Imagination. This is Kylie's sixth year participating in Destination Imagination. Her second time attending Global Finals. She has had the same coach and most of the same kids in her group. Below is the group that went to Tennessee. Destination Imagination or DI as we all call it, is a combination of creativity, team work, and a little bit of Engineering.

Monday, March 21, 2011. Laurel and Priest Overnighter. Our ward has a fun tradition of going on a laurel and Priest get-a-way. Reed and I have pretty much gone on all of them. We went when I was the YW president and now we go because Reed is the YM president. It is held at the Stokers cabin during the snowy winter months. It is always a fun/bonding weekend. Sunday, November 28, 2010. My sweet little grand baby was born on November 17th at 2:00pm he weighed 8 lb 8 oz. I was so glad that I was able to fly to Miami to spend time with Amy, Bryan and McKay. We ate at this amazing restaurant that was right on the beach. Our toes were in the sand. we were able to watch one of the colorful sunsets that we loved seeing every day.
