Domesticating A Woman: August 2011

My Quest to Become a Good Housewife. Sunday, August 7, 2011. Is saying "holy cow" considered blasphemy in India? Tuesday, August 2, 2011. If you look hard enough, there's a silver lining. I woke up this morning to see James sitting beside me, covered in chocolate. It's not weird to wake up to James (although it's usually Sophie), it was the "covered in chocolate" part that got me. I couldn't think of where he'd gotten chocolate from. I asked him, and he very helpfully said "there! A bit later, while clos...

Life's Wild Ride With 3: August 2011
http://lifeswildridewith3.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Life's Wild Ride With 3. Friday, August 5, 2011. Feather pillows, who would have thought! The first to complain was Brett, the feathers kept poking him in the face (insert rolling eyes here) so I had to go buy him a poly fill pillow before a feather popped him in the eye and blinded him forever. One day I go to clean under Ashtons bed and I am startled! How the heck did a dead chicken get under his bed! I then look closer and realize its a pile of feathers from the pillow! Me: "how did those get there?

http://lifeswildridewith3.blogspot.com/2012/05/im-back-run-run-for-your-lives.html
Life's Wild Ride With 3. Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Run for your lives! So its been awhile since my last post. I somehow got lost in life and fell off the bandwagon but I thought posting again would help me not only document our life but to encourage me to continue down my path. Though somehow I don't remember this path being so bumping and steep when I was going down it! Thinking back on the years it took me to reach my * ahem* level of physical fitness, I honestly don't remember it being very hard! Notice...

http://lifeswildridewith3.blogspot.com/2012/05/almond-butter-and-sunshine.html
Life's Wild Ride With 3. Saturday, May 12, 2012. Almond butter and sunshine! Following my new diet is getting pretty tough in the mornings. I know i know, what diet isn't tough right? Doesn't the word breakfast mean grain in some other part of the world? I cannot eat eggs otherwise I would be all over that! So today began with making some homemade from scratch(OK almonds) almond butter! It was pretty interesting to try! Ha ha jokes on us. After a couple minutes this is what you will end up with. My Life ...

Domesticating A Woman: April 2011
http://domesticatingawoman.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
My Quest to Become a Good Housewife. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Longies with a skirt! I love the colours of the skirt, too. I bought the green yarn back when we didn't know if she was a girl or boy, but then after she was born I wanted something more girly :). So, I found some stuff to match and this is what I came up with! This being my first time doing a skirt, I wasn't brave enough to do full-on ruffles, but I think that will be soon! You lookin' at my bum or something? Thursday, April 14, 2011. I'm p...

My Quest to Become a Good Housewife. Tuesday, August 27, 2013. The Post of Shame. Anyway, I was encouraged to post again by a very good friend, so here I am. What has changed since my last post? Hmm, I'll just run down what's going on and you can judge for yourself. Sophia is 6, James is 4, Sabrina is 2.5 and Luke turned 1 last week! We took a family vacation to Florida in April, and had a blast. I have a grand piano now! Well a baby grand. Still :). Hope to do this again sometime soon! 2013 in a nutshell.

Life's Wild Ride With 3: July 2011
http://lifeswildridewith3.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Life's Wild Ride With 3. Thursday, July 28, 2011. Today the sun finally decided to show up and join us for the summer season. I was almost about to do a craft project with the kids, making paper masks so that we could do a sun god dance in hopes that mother nature would be impressed and let the sun come out! Today we had yummy summer foods! Ashton had pitted cherries with his. Sierra preferred our garden blueberries in place of cherries. Hudson liked both blueberries and cherries! Life's Wild Ride With 3: My name is Sandra and I am a germaphob.
http://lifeswildridewith3.blogspot.com/2012/05/my-name-is-sandra-and-i-am-germaphob.html
Life's Wild Ride With 3. Friday, May 18, 2012. My name is Sandra and I am a germaphob. For those unfortunate enough to have been around me for very long, know that I am a germaphob. Its not a secret and I can openly admit it. I get very annoyed when people let their sick kids go to school. I just cant understand it! When the parent is sick they use that as an excuse to do very little housework or they call in sick to work. Uh how about your kids! I mean what can it hurt to try right? Get a little crunchy.
