We had a delightful time in the Bahamas after we took delivery of Blue Eyes. From Yacht Path in Ft. Lauderdale in October, 2009. We had a little work done at Roscioli Yachting Center, up the New River in Lauderdale. An excellent boat yard. After a couple of party days we had a clear weather window and headed out for St. Thomas, USVI. We had a safe passage and were glad to arrive. Hola to all from Blue Eyes. Between mid-October and late November, 2008, we transited the boat from Seattle to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where we left her over Christmas. Sadly shortly after our return to Toronto Scott's mom passed quietly in her sleep just into her 86. Following her interment, we had the usual joyous and chaotic Xmas with the family. Our youngest daughter, Melissa, blessed us with our ninth grandchild, a little girl, Keira, on New Year's Eve. Year - he must have missed Scott's mom too much.

November 1, 2007. In the last month, the Yard has made considerable construction progress. Jerry Chu is now confident that Yard Testing can occur the first week of December. I am expecting new photos shortly. September 30, 2007. Kathy and I are just back from Inspection Trip #4. While construction is proceeding, it is not going as quickly as we had hoped. It now appears that. Will not be ready for Yard Testing until early-mid December. That will push Sea Trials back into January.

Was loaded aboard the. In Keelung, Taiwan (the port for Taipei) during the evening of Feb 1 '08. She depared in the early hours of Feb 2nd and made a peaceful crossing. She arrived at Olympia, WA on Feb. 20th and was immediately offloaded. She took on fuel and departed for Seattle, arriving there late on the 20th. We are very pleased that. Suffered little damage on her winter crossing of the north Pacific! She is, as expected, dirty and covered in sea salt. Off loading photos are below.

The Motor Yacht Blue Eyes. Was built by Oviatt Marine utilizing the Trans World Yard near Taipei. She is a semi-custom 76' Alaskan Raised Pilothouse Long Range Cruiser. Her proud owners are Kathy and Scott Taylor. Her keel was laid in August, 2006 and she was shipped to Seattle in late January, 2008. Commissioning was completed that spring by Yacht Masters NW.
