Gruesome Playground Injuries: 2013 Edition. Subtitle: Oops, I Did It Again. Regular readers will doubtless recall my mishap in the garden last July. It looks fairly innocuous, doesn't it? From My Corner of Katy. These are the stories of a gardener and her adventures in and sometimes out of her eclectic and eccentric garden in a suburb of Houston, Texas. Thursday, July 8, 2010. Hot Time, Summer in the City . I did not cry, despite my previous threats to do so if this situation occurred. I whined a little, true, but I was not alone in that. On the way to Elizabeth Licata's Allentown home for pre-dinner cocktails, we stopped by a few of the homes that will be participating in the famous Buff...

My Strolling Garden: Lubbock Arboretum Plant Sale 2015
http://thestrollinggarden.blogspot.com/2015/04/lubbock-arboretum-plant-sale-2015.html
Gardening was something I began maybe six years ago after renting a cottage with a small side garden. I quickly got the bug and realized that my green thumb had been passed on by my grandmother. Now, with my own home, I've started digging up patch by patch to create what someday will be my very own strolling garden. Saturday, April 25, 2015. Lubbock Arboretum Plant Sale 2015. I hadn't realize how far back the grounds went and was delighted to find several sitting ares with stone benches and pergolas.

The Friday Friends Big Backyard. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Warm weather . or. How we spent our Father's Day. The thing about warm weather in Northern Nevada is, that it hits fast and hard. Every day the garden gave me something new to smile about. Come along as we take our last walk-about together in May. Sweet William and Coreopsis. Johnson's Blue" Geranium with Piglet. Things a...
