My KAMBATIK ECO-FARM . 2ND Edition. This is the story of an eco-friendly farm. My idea is for the farm to 'go green' while at the same time harvest 'green gold' along the way. Tuesday, September 16, 2008. The new store of which construction took of on 23 July has been completed yesterday ( 15/9). The walls are of 10 mm thick plywood and the roofing sheets of zincalum. As at today ( 29/7) the roofing sheets were completely installed around 5.30 pm. Total manhours for installing the 3'x8' zinc sheets was 6 manhours for a total area of 24'x18 ' cover. Saturday, March 29, 2008. Well I haven’t been walking as much so I haven’t been collecting as many cans. Blame it on laziness. I came up with a new word for collecting cans – “harvesting.” :) The fruit of the trash gods. We did walk to the grocery store last week and found 4 bottles. Plus one we found while driving.
