My jaw surgery and I. Braces on: August 2009, Underwent maxillary impaction, mandibular advancement and genioplasty on 28th March 2013 - Now on the road to recovery! Thursday, 24 April 2014. 1 year post-op: More Pictures! Last month I hit the year post-op milestone and can honestly say the entire recovery and year in itself has flown by. I've been reluctant to post because there is nothing at all to say! Jaw surgery has been and gone and recovery is well and truly done. Braces are off and i'm happy!

My Jaw Surgery Journey. Friday, December 20, 2013. So, it's been several months since I updated because I've been completely consumed with grad school. But now I'm on winter break and have a little time to update! I'm still in braces and still wearing rubber bands (one on each side) however, I think they're are trying to get me off of them.
