Sandy's CF Life: Time Flies!
http://sandyscflife.blogspot.com/2011/02/time-flies.html
Sunday, February 13. I think I'm due for a bit of an update. The last few weeks have gone well in terms of my health. I had a run-in with CMV, but after a couple of weeks of oral anti-virals, it's gone again. Otherwise, I'm keeping up with my workouts, meds, sleep, and I'm even eating better. I have probably eaten more vegetable this year than I did all. I have also officially read my first novel in over a year. It's an awesome feeling to get back to the things I enjoy! I am making all sorts of goals and...

Sandy's CF Life: Ready to Run!
http://sandyscflife.blogspot.com/2010/10/ready-to-run.html
Wednesday, October 27. I ran on the treadmill today in the gym! I only ran for one minute at a time, but it felt great. My legs even remembered how to do it! It was a pretty cool experience. As I increased the speed on the treadmill and started to increase my pace to a jog, everybody in the gym stopped to watch and cheer me on. I think I impressed a few people, including myself! October 29, 2010 at 8:17 PM. Last time I tried to jog my legs felt like jelly! You have some goals, girl. CF - Cystic Fibrosis.

Sandy's CF Life: July 2010
http://sandyscflife.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 23. It's been a pretty good week. This time leaving the hospital (two weeks ago), I didn't feel nearly as well as the previous time. I am feeling decent now as the shakiness is gone and my appetite continues to improve. I have worked my way back to my full exercise program (except for the treadmill part- only at 15 of 30 minutes). For the first time in over a year, my muscles are sore from exercising! I love saying that! I went through 30 tanks this week! It feels like Summer! Friday, July 16.

Sandy's CF Life: July 2011
http://sandyscflife.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 23. This update is long overdue - sorry to keep you hanging. I've been busy these last five months, and my one-year transplantiversary is in two days. I have often thought about blogging. but I usually write the post in my head and that's where it ends. Let's start with the most important, I've been healthy! I love being back! The other night, a player from the opposite team said I was too. I totally thought she was talking about someone else. I was so confused! My husband and I have spent...

Sandy's CF Life: The Days Keep Going By...
http://sandyscflife.blogspot.com/2011/10/days-keep-going-by.html
Wednesday, October 26. The Days Keep Going By. It does make me wonder how lousy I looked pre-transplant though! I miss my co-workers. But in other ways, it's hard to imagine going back to work. The long stressful days with little time left for work-outs would be tiring. And the germ factor totally creeps me out. Everyone comes to work sick at times, but with no immune system that would be a losing battle. To speak to groups? To volunteer and spread the word for CF and Organ Donation? One of the things I'...

Sandy's CF Life: Merry Christmas
http://sandyscflife.blogspot.com/2010/12/merry-christmas.html
Saturday, December 25. It's been a while since I posted, but things have been going so well and I've been busy with other stuff! To be honest, I have a harder time sitting at the computer and focusing, so I haven't been on it nearly as much. So many people complain about hitting the big 3-0, but I see it as an accomplishment. Sure, we're all getting older but it's an achievement to pass a milestone. I have gotten back into one of my hobbies- scrapbooking. I am about two and a half years behind, but t...

Sandy's CF Life: April 2010
http://sandyscflife.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 29. It's been snowing like crazy here for a couple of days, so I haven't been out much. Even my dog is pretending that he doesn't need to go outside! I think I need to get out for a change of scenery this evening when my husband gets home. My days are so routine that they're getting boring. Monday, April 26. This is not what I was expecting today, that's for sure! The first thing I did when I got home was repack my transplant bag for good measure! Saturday, April 24. My speech went very w...

Tina's river: July 2009
http://tinasriver.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Getting it together.trying to. Mental health check. Still having a really hard time staying focused at all. Agitation sometimes getting the best of me. I tried a new med, blah. Definitely exacerbated symptoms. Back to the drawing board. I had a very productive and destructive manic phase. Unfortunately even my swings are so sudden and frequent I can't take full advantage of the tiny window of good energy. Grrr. Wednesday, July 8, 2009. The second piece I call "Old Souls" the sea-p...

Tina's river: Happy Independence Day !
http://tinasriver.blogspot.com/2010/07/happy-independence-day.html
Saturday, July 3, 2010. So I haven't posted in a couple of months. Let's see Shawn only had 4 photophoresis treatments due to a glitch in insurance and at first this was a maddening turn of events but things have turned out quite nicely. Shawn's FEV1% has continued to improve with only the Azithromycin, he hovered in the 40's for over a year and now BAM, 50 and last checked he was at 55%. He feels great and looks even better. He drives me crazy nearly everyday but that's Shawn and I love him. Happy Lungi...

Sandy's CF Life: Three Months
http://sandyscflife.blogspot.com/2010/10/three-months.html
Tuesday, October 26. It's been three months since my surgery, as of yesterday. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone! I guess the changing seasons help me to realize how long it's been. Summer and Fall have come and gone, and yesterday we woke up to snow. It looks like Winter has arrived! I don't think I'm ready for it yet! Over the weekend I noticed that my blood sugars started running low, which certainly hasn't happened in the last three months! Time to learn how to like veggies for snacks!
