As most of you know, Marilyn was a daughter, sister, wife and mother along with being a high school English teacher for over 35 years. As we look back at her life, one of the ways to look at her life could probably be described in a book by Dr. Seuss, “Oh, The Places You’ll Go”. However, her faith was challenged a bit in the very early years.

First time writer, Amy Jamison, recounts the story of her death experience in 1976 from a collapsed lung from walking pneumonia. This memoir describes Amy’s out of body trip to Heaven, where she encounters a dark entity, two angels, three spirits of deceased relatives and Jesus. This story includes her gift of visions of future events, involving immediate family members. These visions begin in 1981, and at first, Amy is not sure what she is supposed to do with the knowledge, as it frightens her.

Tuesday, July 19, 2011. About 2 hours ago, 6:30 pm, the power went out. No air-conditioning, no TV, no computer. I wondered how widespread this was and how long it would last.
