Monday, August 10, 2009. I am back in reality. I arrived back to the states July 8. And have been struggling with readjusting. I could not sleep the first night I was home and I missed Africa horribly! I did not realize how much Uganda meant to me while I was in it, but now that I am gone, I realize. Monday, June 29, 2009. Pray for Journey Mercies. . Tomorrow Morning Lindsey, Sarah and I will leave for Kampala. It is about a 7 hour drive. Then we will spend a week in Kampala going around town. . Tuesday July 7th Lindsey and I start our LONG journey home. We fly out of Entebbe at 10:20 pm Ugandan time and arrive back in the states on Wednesday afternoon, July 8th. . July 2, 2009 at 8:39 AM. Monday, June 29, 2009. About two weeks ago the only two girls in the fistula ward who spoke English left to go home. These two girls befriended me and so I was sad to see them go. . These two girls were Peace and Harriet. So what do you do with a bunch of girls who do not speak your language? Lindsey and I spent Friday afternoon singing with them. Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Her song was her story. A young woman who is waiting for the repair sang me her story. She once lived a party lifestyle. . She drank lots and danced the night away in local bars, until the Lord came to her. The Lord saved her and redeemed her, and now she SINGS about it! Sunday, January 1, 2017. 2016 was good to me, I have no complaints! I traveled back home for Christmas and enjoyed spending time with my family and former colleagues. It was good to regroup and refocus and I'm now back in Abu Dhabi. It's funny how I couldn't wait to go back to The States, but once there, I couldn't wait to come back to the UAE. Lol! For this demo we are using one disk group named [datadg] and volume name is [datavol1]. You can check status of disk group and volume by using vxvm commands [vxdisk, vxprint]. Vxdisk -o alldgs list. Vxpirnt -d datadg -htrq. Please make a note of that datavol1 is mounted on /user home. Ls -l /User home. Now, i will create two snapshots file system on datadg diskgroup. Vxprint -d datdg -hrt.
