Saturday, April 17, 2010. How to create snapshot on vxvm for Backup. Using File System Snapshots for Online Backup. For this demo we are using one disk group named [datadg] and volume name is [datavol1]. You can check status of disk group and volume by using vxvm commands [vxdisk, vxprint]. Vxdisk -o alldgs list. Vxpirnt -d datadg -htrq. Please make a note of that datavol1 is mounted on /user home. Ls -l /User home. Now, i will create two snapshots file system on datadg diskgroup. Vxprint -d datdg -hrt.

TCP is a connection-oriented protocol, a connection can be made from client to server, and from then on any data can be sent along that connection. If you send two messages along a connection, one after the other, you know the first message will get there first. You don't have to worry about data arriving in the wrong order.

Sunday, January 1, 2017. 2016 was good to me, I have no complaints! I traveled back home for Christmas and enjoyed spending time with my family and former colleagues. It was good to regroup and refocus and I'm now back in Abu Dhabi. It's funny how I couldn't wait to go back to The States, but once there, I couldn't wait to come back to the UAE. Lol! I could not sleep the first night I was home and I missed Africa horribly! I did not realize how much Uganda meant to me while I was in it, but now that I am gone, I realize.
