It's a crazy thing, my mind. Proceed with caution. Friday, June 09, 2006. Last day of kindergarten. I don't feel like I have the closure I need, so I've decided to go to school to pick him up this afternoon and give his teacher and assistant teacher big hugs. What a cacophony of emotions I am experiencing. I called my mom and cried to her. I'm sad, happy, relieved, reminiscent, grateful, and mostly extremely proud of my son! I know other moms can relate. It's truly a milestone of a day.

Mary Catherine is napping currently; don't know yet whether she'll wake up in time for one of her favorite activities. I should probably get a photo of her strapped on to me in her carrier, waiting at the busstop before the end of the school year. And that is next Friday! I'm so proud of him.
