My quest to be fit. My journey to exercising daily. May 22, 2015. Ran 9 miles today. But I was feeling super thrilled, because I did it. Even though 5 miles felt quite okay to me – I’ve done 8 miles after all, and 5 miles many times on the treadmill, it still felt really great. So… guess what? I did 9 miles! You know what, I’m going to sound really stupid or what not. but can you imagine. I did 9 miles! So should I do it? End goal in sight! This entry was posted in Half Marathon. PB: 10 miles yesterday!

Finally back to running! 🙂 My main motivation – even if I don’t manage to complete my run at the marathon, I’ll go there and do as much as I can. And hopefully will be able to push myself to somehow run the whole thing! I did do a 6 mile run after all! Of course it was on a flat treadmill, haven’t done any hill training, which I’m sure will be crazy hard. Still, 6 miles is something! 6 more weeks of training time! Week 4 day 1 complete.

This is the first week since I started training that I’ve followed the training plan very strictly. It feels good. Tomorrow is the big one. 7 miles! Then a day off. I love the days off! It was tough, my knees started hurting in the last 30 mins. I was on a flat treadmill as usual, at a slow speed of 4.7 mph. I didn’t want to tempt fate my increasing the speed.
