So Much To Do. Thursday, August 31, 2006. My room is done! The pencils are sharpened, the copies are made, and everything is kid-prepared! After a long, warm, tiring but happy week, I really feel ready for the new school year. Whew. Grilled Cheese Sandwiches are not Fast Food. This pretty much sums up what it's like to have children. Matthew: Mom, I'm so hungry - can I have a grilled cheese sandwich. Matthew "I'm so hungry, I need it now". Me: "I'm making it". Matthew "Is it done yet? Me: "It's going to take a few minutes,I just put it on".

The Road I Travel. My journey from mom to teacher. Archive for March, 2012. I have been feeling a bit sad lately. I really miss having friends to go out with. I have not even been on a date with Chris since before Charlotte was born. Last week L’s babies turned three, I hate that I am so far away. She was such a huge part of the boys lives and her kids don’t even know who I am. It stinks. So what to do? I don’t know. I take it one day at a time and one moment at a time and I get done what I can when I can.

The Road I Travel. My journey from mom to teacher. Archive for April, 2012. So ow that I have been done nursing for about a month I am feeling much better. School has been crazy busy, we only have 6 weeks left and I am trying to get all the plans together and get my final exam written. Once that is done it will be smooth sailing. Now it is time to focus on getting my weight down. I was doing really well and then everything got crazy busy and I could not focus on it, so now it is time to get back to it.

One of my favorite things is every year I get to start over and fix my mistakes. I get to try again and try new things. I will miss my kids from this year and they will always hold a special place in my heart but I am ready for a new bunch. I am ready to see what a new year will hold. L and the babies.
