About Avebury Vocal Ensemble. Avebury Vocal Ensemble (AVE) was formed in 2000 and formerly known as NUBISS (the New University of Bath In Swindon Singers). We are a chamber choir of between 25 and 30 singers who enjoy getting together to rehearse and perform both accompanied and unaccompanied music, encompassing sacred and secular works. We perform around three concert programmes anually in the Avebury, Swindon and Marlborough area, plus at least two Christmas carol celebrations each year.

Myrdal is at an altitude of 867 metres and the train descends to an altitude of only 21 metres at Flam.
