Saturday, June 25, 2011. 37 Weeks on June 4. Gideon has started wiggling his way around this week. He is very determined to get what he wants and will try to get to it by spinning himself around on his tummy and stretching as far as he can to reach it. If it's still too far away he rolls onto his side and pushes a little with his feet and then tries to reach it again. He has been successful numerous times! Monday, February 28, 2011. 22 Weeks on February 19. Is it bad that sometimes I feel a bit stir crazy? Don't get me wrong.I absolutely adore my little boy, but there are times when I just need a stinkin' break! Gideon was 5 months and 1 day old on February 19. He's growing a developing so quickly! It warms my heart that he grabs onto my mouth, cheeks, nose, and hair now. When he gets my hair in his little fists he's definitely got me trapped! Sunday, March 27, 2011. 27 Weeks on March 26, 2011. I've been trying to sleep train Gideon this week. Monday was an awful day that had both me and Gideon in tears. It's really tough to listen to your own baby cry for an hour and a half! I eventually couldn't take it any longer and had to pick him up and cuddle him. Fortunately, his failure to take good naps during the day along with all the tears left Gideon tired for the night! I didn't pick him up or give him his binky and he wasn't swaddled either!

Tuesday, September 28, 2010. The one thing that people always tell new mothers is how quickly little babies grow up. They say to enjoy each moment and I am trying. But how will I remember? That's why I'm starting this blog. My hope is to capture some precious memories with my baby so that I can look back later on and remember the little things that are bringing me joy as well as the challenges I'm facing as a new mom. Thursday, October 28, 2010. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. I am loving motherhood! Gideon brings me so much joy! It melts my heart when I look at him and find that he's watching me. I still don't know if his smiles are intentional, but they are so cute and make me feel so good regardless. Sometimes it sure seems like he's smiling at me! Here are the weekly sock monkey pictures. He slid down into this cute little pose! Michael had a good week at work! My life is so much better when Michael is happy. : ).
